RDW Group

RDW Group Forty years. Time tested and future focused. How did we get here? By becoming us. By doing the work and delivering results.

We’re a fully-integrated agency offering complete marketing solutions. In 1986, we were established as a public relations and communications firm – working with local and regional clients on their media and PR needs. Since then, with just under 70 professionals, we’ve expanded our team and capabilities to support our clients with all paid, earned, and owned media needs.

The SEO landscape may be smaller than we once thought. As AI search continues to change how people find information, the opportunity isn't necessarily in chasing more keywords — it’s in becoming a brand that is recognized, trusted, and included.

The next evolution of search is about more than rankings. It’s about relevance, authority, and building a brand people, and AI, understand. Read more.

AI answers are settling phrases, not ranking them. The space of real opportunities was never as large as the space of phrasings.

As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we're highlighting the people who have helped drive RDW Group forward. In this edition, Chief Growth Officer Glenn Morgan shares his perspective on what makes RDW special—and, with a little humor, reveals that one of his favorite things about RDW Group.

For him, growth is about more than revenue — it’s about helping our teammates grow, becoming better prepared to support one another, and continually building the skills and perspective needed to better serve our clients. That shared drive to learn, improve, and help each other succeed is what keeps RDW moving forward after four decades. And while the “drive-in” may be one of Glenn’s favorite things about RDW and may get a laugh, it’s the drive of our people that has truly powered RDW Group for 40 years.

Earlier this year, RDW Group had the privilege of contributing to a project supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in partnership with Montana University System (MUS) and First Lady Susan Gianforte’s Treasure State Foundation and the Boosting Literacy campaign. Though our role was small, the mission behind the work was not. Dolly’s commitment to putting books into the hands of pre-school children has helped inspire a love of reading for millions of young people. We’re grateful to have played a part in supporting that mission, and especially grateful that our work can connect us with initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

We extend our deepest gratitude for the legacy Dolly leaves behind through her generosity, kindness, and vision.

Today, we’re featuring Social Media Manager Kaitlyn Delaney, who shares some of the clients and campaigns that have made an impact throughout her time at RDW — including a recent campaign that featured local influencers. By pairing real stories and voices with the right messaging, the campaign brought the brand to life in a way that truly resonated.

Kaitlyn also reflects on the ever-evolving world of social media and how staying curious, embracing new platforms and trends, and finding authentic ways to connect with audiences has always been part of the RDW approach. When prospective students ask ChatGPT or Perplexity which universities to consider, does your institution make the list? AI is changing how students discover programs and compare schools. For universities, digital visibility now goes beyond traditional SEO. Your digital presence needs to be built for how AI platforms understand and surface information.

That’s where iFactory, our digital development division, comes in. In their new blog, iFactory looks at what it means to be “findable” in ChatGPT and Perplexity, how universities can assess their AI visibility, and what higher ed marketers should consider as search continues to evolve. https://bit.ly/4g8njDR

Healthcare organizations often talk about the future of medicine in terms of AI, innovation, and advanced technology. But for patients, providers, and employees, the future is still fundamentally human.

As trust in healthcare evolves, the strongest brands won't be defined solely by cutting-edge tools. They'll be remembered for empathy, transparency, and meaningful connection. How can your organization lead with greater humanity? Read our blog on building a health system brand strategy that balances innovation with the human experience. https://bit.ly/480Qrd4

Effective communication starts with understanding where people are in their journey and meeting them with empathy, not judgment. That's why adopting motivational interviewing principles can be so powerful. By listening first, acknowledging individual experiences, and supporting autonomy, communicators can create messages that feel relevant, respectful, and actionable.

When we shift from telling people what to do to helping them explore their own motivations for change, we build trust — and trust drives engagement. Addressing society’s persistent struggle with substance use is one of our highest public health priorities. It is among our most important and impactful work. https://bit.ly/3P56C2m
