So honored to rebrand this old-time favorite. This local, family-owned business is now run by the next generation of their ‘ohana. They needed a fresh look while still honoring their mama’s original dream of making ‘ono food that locals and visitors can enjoy. Everything is always ‘ono here, the food, the prices. Mahalo you guys!

How to process grief when you’re a creator…create!!!

I’m having difficulty creating these days, loss of words, loss of inspiration. So, I started cooking. Cooking for my family, cooking for my loved ones, just cooking. Then I sat and thought, ok just create something and as hard as it was fragments of beauty started to emerge. I just shared it, shared it with everyone close that could make something of it and called it “creative free will”. Do with it as you see, or not.

These guys made cookies! So fricken awesome! I missed their benefit today, but so honored they made something ono from it. Mahalo and
