The story behind Believe Social is a lot deeper than marketing. šŸ¤

When I was 13 years old, my mom passed away. And honestly… from that point on, I always had a camera in my hand.

Photography became more than just taking pictures for me. It became an outlet. A passion. A way to create something meaningful.

Over the years, I spent so much time learning.
Photography.
Business.
Psychology.
Marketing.

I went to school, took classes, invested into courses, and slowly started figuring out where I fit.

Before I started Believe Social, my dad passed away.

And if you knew my deddy, you knew one thing for sure… he believed everything in life was ā€œfigureoutable.ā€ No matter what happened, you kept going, you worked hard, and you figured it out.

Even during the moments where I doubted myself, God kept opening doors I never could’ve planned on my own. Every step of this business has been led by faith, hard work, and a whole lot of perseverance.

One of the biggest reasons I love what I do is because it gives me the flexibility to show up for my kids while also showing them what’s possible when you work hard and truly believe in yourself.

And that’s actually where the name Believe came from.

My mom used to always tell me:
ā€œBelieve in yourself and give 110% in everything that you do.ā€

So that’s exactly what I’m doing. Every single day. šŸ¤

Because when I’m producing a shoot, every detail matters to me. The vision, the branding, the feeling people get when they watch it — all of it.

What most people don’t see is that I’m usually doing a little bit of everything behind the scenes.
Producing.
Directing.
Planning shots.
Fixing problems.

Let’s talk AI for a second… šŸ‘€

I truly believe AI can be an incredible tool when it’s used the right way. But if you’re using it in a way that removes all creativity, personality, and trust from your brand… I don’t really see the benefit. And honestly? The numbers don’t lie.

If you’re a business constantly posting AI-generated slop, I can almost guarantee your audience can tell it’s fake. And when people feel like something is fake, it becomes a lot harder to trust the business behind it.

Now don’t get me wrong… there are SO many helpful ways to use AI. Organizing thoughts, creating to-do lists, brainstorming ideas, even helping with captions if you’ve actually trained it to understand your brand voice and tone. It can absolutely support your workflow.

But after looking at analytics over and over again… raw, organic content and intentional graphics consistently outperform overly polished AI-created content. The content you actually put effort, creativity, and personality into almost always converts better.

People want connection.People want authenticity.People want to feel something.

AI should enhance your creativity… not replace it. šŸ¤

Camera gear? Check.
Laptop? Of course.
My giant ā€œBig Macā€ monitor? Absolutely!!!

Meanwhile I’m over here fully prepared to shoot content all day, come back to the apartment, and clock back in for round two!!

Here’s where most people get it wrong:
When you actually love what you’re building, the work doesn’t feel optional.

I can shoot for clients all day long and still come home excited to edit, plan, answer emails, and keep building Believe Social.

This business came from too much prayer, too much sacrifice, and too many late nights for me to halfway do it now.

So yes… I brought the whole setup. And I’d do it again. šŸ¤

Sooo funny but not so funny story… šŸ˜‚

I once had a client tell me that ā€œhard workā€ goes a long way with him. And honestly, that stuck with me because hard work and dedication is exactly how I run my business.

Well… TWO days after meeting me, he called and asked if I could drive 6.5 hours to Tennessee the next week for content.

There was literally an ice storm coming.
I was hesitant.
But I went anyway because that’s just how I was raised. You figure it out and you show up.

By day two of shooting, I felt AWFUL.
We were in the middle of a full content day at the dealership, and if you know us, you know we don’t really ā€œtake lunchā€ on content days because there’s too much to get done. šŸ˜‚

So I DoorDashed medicine and Gatorade straight to the dealership and kept going.

That night, I had Madison run and get me a thermometer… 103.8 fever. 🫠

And somehow… by the grace of God… Madison never got sick.

Meanwhile I was still editing, still working, and still showed up for another shoot the next day while trying to keep my distance from everybody the best I could.

Now listen… I’m not saying ignore your health. šŸ˜‚
But I am saying hard work matters.

My deddy raised me to believe that when you commit to something, you show up, you do the work, and you don’t quit the second things get uncomfortable.

And honestly?
That mindset has carried me a long way in business. šŸ¤
