Veterans Day, observed every November 11, recognizes all who have served in the Armed Forces. Memorial Day and Veterans Day are both patriotic holidays honoring the military, but there is a significant difference between the two aside from when they land on the calendar.
Memorial Day, which falls on the last Monday in May, honors the men and women who died while serving in the military. This solemn occasion is a time to reflect on these American patriots who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting and defending the country they deeply loved.

Let us all pray for our brothers and sisters at The T-Shirt Factory and nearby businesses that are currently on fire in Virginia Beach, Virginia. May all the first responders be safe and may those injuried fully recover.

The fire broke out at the T-Shirt Factory at 2610 Atlantic Avenue. One firefighter suffered minor injuries.

Gunner Saunders (Silver Weimaraner) crossed over the Rainbow Bridge last year just shy of his 13th birthday. Gunner is missed beyond measure and was loved by many. We cherish his memory.

No, law enforcement agencies in Central Florida are not selling t-shirts. It appears that a text message scam has begun to make the rounds again and various law enforcement agencies are warning people to not fall for the scam.
