30 Days of secondhand shopping haul so far! 

It's day 20 of my personal 30 day challenge of featuring 30 different thrift, resale, and consignment shops in the month of August. 

I wasn't able to hit a store today, so I decided to do a 2/3 of the way check-in instead. 

At the beginning, I would've expected to have more jewelry in this haul, but I think my recent jewelry declutter kind of deterred that. I do have more shoes than expected. 

I went into what was my most expensive purchase, what was the cheapest (under $0.40 cost per wear already!), and what my budget was/is for this challenge.

My thrift wishlist for the last 10 days: 

- Cool belts, ideally blue, but I'm open to anything cool
- Necklaces different from what I already have (can't stop, won't stop) 
- Gauchos
- Wide leg pants that are actually long enough
- Any cool brands I don't normally see!

Best place for random, specific finds

I've gone into this Goodwill (Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago - Grafton) with the most random of missions and usually come out successful. Such as finding:

~ A unicorn and rainbow skirt for a Pride month event
~ A fabulous and chic vintage black dress for a Delia Deetz from Beetlejuice Halloween costume
~ Menswear looks: blazers, dress shirts, dress pants, cashmere sweater vests, and polos
~ The best and most random T-shirt selections that are now some of my favorites

Today, our mission was pretty simple - finding a zip-up sweatshirt for my daughter. But of course, while we were looking for her, I had to check my usual sections to see what fun and unique gems I could find for myself.

I'd say mission accomplished!

Thrifting for a good cause!

I'm back at Family Sharing Ozaukee County, but this time it's for part of my 30 thrift stores (or secondhand stores in general) in 30 days challenge.

Every day, Family Sharing strives to make a significant impact on its mission to alleviate hunger in Ozaukee County with dignity and compassion. Proceeds from the resale boutique fund the food pantry.

So you can actually feel good about shopping here!

Their women's clothing section is always well stocked with great finds (including maternity!), but even if I'm not looking for home goods, I have to take a lap around their home section. It's so well merchandised and looks like a high-end furniture store. I was really tempted by that chair this time...

I left without the chair, but I did take home the blue and black lace top I tried on from Banana Republic!
