🇺🇸 4th of July in Racine – Important Parade, Parking & Boat Launch Information 🇺🇸

As Racine prepares to celebrate Independence Day, we look forward to welcoming residents and visitors downtown for one of the community’s biggest and longest running traditions. To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review the following parade-day parking and access information:

🚫 NO PARKING will be allowed in the following areas on Saturday, July 4, ALL DAY:
• East side of Michigan Blvd. from Hubbard Street to Goold Street — no parking all day, before, during, and after the festivities until midnight.

🚫 NO PARKING will be allowed in the following areas on Saturday, July 4, beginning at midnight and remaining in effect until the parade route is reopened to traffic:
• Along the entire parade route, which runs south on Main Street from Goold Street to 14th Street, then west on 14th Street
• Parade staging areas

🚤 BOAT LAUNCH NOTICE:
• The 5th Street Boat Launch will be inaccessible from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 4, due to parade-related activities and traffic restrictions.

These parking and access restrictions are in place for public safety and traffic flow. All restricted areas will be clearly marked with NO PARKING signs and actively monitored by the Racine Police Department. Vehicles in violation may be ticketed and towed.

🎉 PARADE VIEWING SETUP:
You may begin placing blankets and chairs on the parkway to reserve your spot for the parade starting at 5:00 AM on July 4. Please be respectful of sidewalks, driveways, and private property.

🎺 Pre-parade festivities begin at 8:30 AM, followed by the main parade at 9 AM.
