Isn’t my friend so beautiful? NC fall definitely showed up for her and it’s still one of my favorite fall portrait sessions to date.

2021 & 2022 have been so busy for me that I’ve failed to share work on Instagram. I’m going to start backtracking, so stay tuned for more! ❤️❤️

Recently I had the joy of capturing with her loves. How cute are they?! Erica and Cameron were such troopers in the chilly weather, and their baby girl was kicking away during most of our session! It was so much fun to see their love and join the anticipation for the arrival of their little one.

Just wanted to check in with- how are you doing, really?

I’ll be the first to say- this week was a doozy. There were multiple times a day I cried, laughed, and wanted to scream...not all in that order, and some at the same time. It’s been a tough week of waiting, letting go, and protecting my energy. It’s been a week that I definitely didn’t feel like the same woman in this photo. And that’s ok!!

I’m thankful for time spent with friends this week that don’t sugar coat what they’re going through. It’s hard to be real, honest, and open with raw emotions that gnaw at our hearts. But that’s what community is for. Listening, learning, empathizing, loving. Getting off of this la la social media land to be present with the truth. That’s how we make progress and eventually move through the tough times to get to the joyful ones. Boy am I hopeful that this week will be better!!!

Just wanted to say that you aren’t alone! How can I be there for you, pray for, or support you this week?

Sending all the love and good vibes your way, friend ❤️

Counting my blessings with hopes to bring more good vibes this week! What’s something you’re grateful for today?

I’m super thankful for time I’ve been able to spend with these two amazing women this year. My mom and grandma inspire me so much. They both work so hard, serve others with kindness, and are strong in their faith. They’ve taught me the importance of seeking Jesus every day and have encouraged me to trust him. I’ve also seen my mom take care of her health and my grandma overcome hip surgery #2 at an amazing rate because of how active she is. This year taught me how important it is to take care of yourself and your inner circle. These spunky women are a huge blessing to me; I’m grateful for precious time with them!

Since I can remember, hanging Christmas ornaments on the tree has been a fun family activity. Every year, my sister and I would get excited to hang our ballerinas, Hermione Granger, the White House Ornament, etc. We would debate about who could put the angel on top at the end...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now that we are older, our tree has become a puzzle for me and mom to figure out. We try to fit every single ornament on that sucker and we swear that they aren’t going to fit. Somehow we get it to work and this year the tree is the most beautiful I think I’ve ever seen it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There were times growing up that I thought our tree looked tacky because it didn’t have a theme and none of our Christmas decor matched. As we grew older I began to realize the sentimental value of our tree and how special it is to look back on the years. You see, every year out ornament collection would grow- Mom would get ornaments from places we visited, characters we loved, or hobbies we were into. Our tree is full of memories, smiles, and warm fuzzies. It’s so special to see how our family has grown and all of the adventures we have had.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This year was no exception. I’m thankful to have had some great memories made, friendships grown, to travel and see some of my best friends marry the love of their life. 2020 had a lot of good in it. A lot of challenges, but a lot of growth. My 2020 ornaments make me smile just as much as any other year and wow I’m just so grateful. What are you grateful for about your 2020?

Idk about y’all, but one positive about this year has been more time with our pets. Time at home has allowed our cats to be more comfortable and we’ve had time to notice their hilarious behaviors every day! Pets are our most loyal friends and are there for us every day. This year I enjoyed hanging out with ‘s blue heeler, Tyson. He may be the most chill pup I’ve ever met! What is a quality you’ve noticed about your pet that has stood out to you this year?

God is good. Felt his presence in an indescribable way on top of my mountain this Saturday, which made me realize all I’ve been missing right infront of me.

Going to be taking some intentional time off of social media to listen, wait, and be present. If you need my number so we can stay in touch, let me know! I’m also still booking photo sessions through November if you want to get on my calendar.

Wishing you all peace and rest this season!
