FINAL THOUGHTS
As a PTSD survivor, I've learned that healing isn't about being "fixed."

It's about giving your brain and nervous system the support they need to recover.

Small actions repeated consistently often create the biggest changes.

Your service mattered.
Your recovery matters too.

The biggest barrier to Veteran care isn't the VA.. it's not knowing what to ask for?

Programs exist. Referrals exist. Non-drug therapies exist

Red light therapy, neurofeedback, sTMS migraine relief, VR-based exposure therapy.

Most of it is already covered or accessible through the VA.

What's missing isn't access. It's translation.

Ask for "pain management" and you might get handed a prescription pad.

Ask for "a referral to non-pharmacological chronic pain treatment under my whole health plan" and the conversation changes.

Same visit, same provider, completely different outcome

because now you've given them the words to say yes.

Veterans who walk in with the specific language..the program names, the right phrasing, the exact ask tend to move through the system faster, with less back-and-forth and less frustration.

The barrier was never the care.

It was not knowing there was a door, let alone what to say to open it.

After speaking with thousands of veterans…most veterans don’t need a higher disability rating

They need better access to in home medical technology so they can actually heal better and fully participate in their life after service

Whether it’s chronic body pain

Daily or monthly migraines

PTSD related symptoms of anxiety, depression and sleep disturbances

They want solutions that work at the root not higher ratings that get them more meds and bandaids

And they NEED HELP navigating the VA request process because they are tired of blanket denials and/or plain out being ignored

So after working with over 25,000 veterans and decision makers inside the VA

Here’s what we have learned

it’s not about if you ask it’s about HOW you ask

For $0 cost.. shipped to your home medical devices that work

Such as

Red light and PEMF wraps for chronic pain

Migraine relief sTMS devices

Neuro feedback and brain/vagus nerve stimulation for post trauma and TBI’s

1 decide what non pharmaceutical device(s) will best support your specific healing journey

2 gather the science, research and ordering info to share with your VA provider

(We already have all this on file so we will send it to you and save you tons of time 😊)

3 explain WHY you need this. This is the key… wanting it is simply not enough for some VA’s

You significantly improve your approval chances by sharing with your Dr. exactly what you’re experiencing

And how your day to day life is being disrupted by your symptoms..

For instance ..

✅ Be specific about your symptoms.

Don’t just say…

“My back hurts.”

Explain exactly what you experience.

For example:

• Sharp or dull pain
• Numbness or tingling
• Weakness
• Swelling
• Headaches
• Panic attacks
• Sleep problems

This helps the examiner document accurately.

✅ Talk about frequency, severity, and duration.

Instead of saying…

“It happens a lot.”

Explain:

• How often it happens.
• How severe it gets.
• How long it lasts.

These details help paint a much clearer picture

Explain your functional limitations.

Don’t stop at…

“My knee hurts.”

Explain what that actually means.

Can you no longer:

• Stand for long periods?
• Walk long distances?
• Kneel?
• Lift your children?
• Climb stairs?
• Carry groceries?
• Sleep through the night?

The VA considers how your pain and suffering affect your ability to function.

✅ Tell them how it affects your work.

If your symptoms causes you to:

• Miss work
• Need extra breaks
• Lose productivity
• Miss promotions
• Require workplace accommodations

PRO TIP… request and share your information using the secure online My HealtheVet portal even if you make your request in person…

This way you are documenting an organized paper trail for yourself

The Elizabeth Dole Act was signed into law on January 2, 2025.

Its full name is the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act.

Making it easier for Veterans to get help

Sometimes Veterans don’t know what benefits or programs are available.

This law helps improve access and communication.

It encourages the VA to keep improving how it serves Veterans,

including areas like healthcare, mental health support, and resources.

🇺🇸 Veterans: Did you know the VA may provide access to more than just medications?

For years, veterans believed the only options available through the VA were prescriptions, referrals, and endless appointments. Then we started sharing a side of Veteran healthcare that very few Veterans even know exists.

Today, thousands of Veterans are exploring innovative, non-drug technologies that may be available through their VA care team when medically appropriate.

Some of these include:

✅ Virtual Reality Headsets used to support Veterans struggling with PTSD-related symptoms, anxiety, stress, and emotional regulation.

✅ Medical-Grade Red Light Therapy Wraps designed to help support chronic pain management, inflammation reduction, recovery, and improved quality of life.

✅ Brain Mapping and Neurofeedback programs that help Veterans better understand brain function and work toward improvements in focus, brain fog, stress management, sleep quality, and anxiety symptoms.

The reality is that many Veterans simply don't know these options exist.

That's exactly why we became passionate about Veteran education.

Through our work helping Veterans navigate VA-accessible health technologies, we’ve spoken with countless men and women who were frustrated, exhausted, and looking for alternatives beyond another prescription.

We’ve watched Veterans regain hope after discovering resources they never knew were available.

The goal isn't to replace your healthcare team.

The goal is to help Veterans become informed, ask better questions, and advocate for every benefit they've earned through their service.

If you're a Veteran dealing with chronic pain, PTSD symptoms, anxiety, sleep issues, inflammation, brain fog, or stress, it may be worth having a conversation with your VA provider about available treatment options.

The benefits you've earned are often much broader than what most Veterans realize.

You served our country. Make sure you're informed about the resources available to serve you.

Comment "INFO" and we will send you our free Veteran guide explaining these VA-accessible technologies and how to start the conversation with your care team.

A Veteran with PTSD symptoms asked me recently what neuro-feedback even is, and I've been thinking about how to explain it simply ever since.

Here's the short version: PTSD often keeps the brain's alarm system, the amygdala, stuck in the "on" position.

Neurofeedback trains the brain to dial that back down.

After 10 to 20 sessions, research shows the brain's baseline state can shift meaningfully toward calm.

One recent study found that literally every participant showed improvement,

and over 90% reached a clinically significant reduction in symptoms.

I don't share numbers like that lightly.

That one impressed me the first time I read it.

In addition, most veterans do not know that the VA has in home neuro-feedback on the federal supply schedule which means veterans can access this at $0 cost wit approved VA benefits.

Naval Academy graduate and formal naval officer, Michael Sweeney, and I have been working for the past year learning how to significantly improve a veterans approval chances

We've learned how to best support our American veterans and what the VA prosthetics department is looking for.

Comment GUIDE and we will send you the cliff notes so you can get these innovative medical devices in your hands and home.

Every week we hear from Veterans who tell us the same thing:

"I've tried everything."

Pain medications.

Physical therapy.

Injections.

Surgery.

Countless appointments.

Yet they're still living with chronic pain.

The problem isn't that Veterans aren't trying hard enough.

The problem is that many treatments are designed to help manage
symptoms,

not necessarily support the body's natural recovery processes.

That's why more Veterans are asking questions about non-pharmaceutical options that may be appropriate for their individual situation.

Many don't realize the VA can consider a variety of complementary and integrative therapies and medical devices when a VA clinician determines they're clinically appropriate.

For example..

Red light for chronic pain

PEMF for neuropathies & arthritis

Brain mapping and neuro feedback for better sleep and focus

sTMS for migraine relief

VR for post trauma, stress management

Our mission isn't to convince Veterans that one treatment is right for everyone.

It's to make sure they know what questions to ask,

what options may exist,

and how to navigate the VA request process.

Every Veteran deserves to make informed decisions about their care.

If you're a Veteran living with chronic pain, don't assume you've run out of options.

And if you're a VA provider, Veteran Service Organization, or Veteran advocate, we’d love to connect.

The more we share accurate information,

the more Veterans we can help access the care that's right for them.

Together, we can make sure no Veteran misses an opportunity simply because they didn't know it existed.

VA APPROVAL HACKS NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT

Because it’s not about if you ask it’s about HOW you ask

After working with 25,000+ veterans and decision makers inside the VA

I’ve learned a few simple steps that will increase your approval chances

For $0 cost.. shipped to your home medical devices that work

Such as

Red light wraps for chronic pain

Migraine relief sTMS devices

PEMF wearables for neuropathies and arthritis

1 decide what non pharmaceutical device(s) will best support your specific healing journey

2 gather the science, research and ordering info to share with your VA provider

Explain exactly what you experience.

For example:

• Sharp or dull pain
• Numbness or tingling
• Weakness
• Swelling
• Headaches
• Panic attacks
• Sleep problems
• Memory or concentration issues
• Instability or giving way

The words you choose matter because they help the examiner document accurately.

✅ Talk about frequency, severity, and duration.

Instead of saying…

“It happens a lot.”

Explain:

• How often it happens.
• How severe it gets.
• How long it lasts.

These details help paint a much clearer picture of how your condition affects you.

Explain your functional limitations.

This is where many veterans accidentally hurt their own claim.

Don’t stop at…

“My knee hurts.”

Explain what that actually means.

Can you no longer:

• Stand for long periods?
• Walk long distances?
• Kneel?
• Squat?
• Lift your children?
• Climb stairs?
• Sit for extended periods?
• Carry groceries?
• Sleep through the night?

The VA doesn’t just evaluate whether you have a diagnosis. It also considers how your pain and suffering affects your ability to function.

✅ Tell them how it affects your work.

If your symptoms causes you to:

• Miss work
• Need extra breaks
• Change positions frequently
• Lose productivity
• Have trouble concentrating
• Miss promotions

The Hidden VA Benefits.. we are exposing for veterans

What if the benefit you need most is the one you've never heard of?

Most Veterans know about disability compensation and standard medical care.

Far fewer know the VA also covers non-pharmaceutical therapies for

chronic pain, migraines, and PTSD-related symptoms

things like red light therapy,

VR-based stress tools,

and brain enhancing technologies

These aren't pilot programs.

They're active, funded, and available right now.

The gap isn't access.

It's awareness

Comment "GUIDE" and we will send you the OPTI Vet Solutions step by step guide on what's available and how to request yours.

I still remember the first time a Veteran told me he'd been dealing with joint pain for over a decade

and had never once been told about red light therapy.

Not because anyone hid it from him.

Just because nobody mentioned it.

It's a real, studied therapy..

red and near-infrared light that stimulates energy production at the cellular level

and helps calm inflammation.

A 2024 review on chronic pain found measurable improvements in pain tolerance.

It's not a replacement for medical care.

It's an option that should've been on the table from day one.

This is a lot of what I do now…

making sure Veterans hear about the option before they've spent years without it.

Red light wraps for military veterans accessible though approved VA benefits for chronic pain relief

7 wraps available. neck, shoulder, back, wrist, hand, knee, foot,

The neck one is my daily go to 🤩

Over 1000 wraps in 90 different VA’s have been issued since starting this mission

Please share with other Veterans and help spread the news because most don’t know yet

Comment RED.. I’ll send you the step by step request process to get yours

P.S You can request more than one 😊
