If you know me, then you know I love cocktails, especially if they are made with …

This fun drink is titled “Strawberry Kisses.” It has a light, summery taste that will leave you wanting more. It also includes Peychauds Bitters, Laios Rosé, and Dolins Sweet Vermouth.

Thanks so much to these tasty beverages for mixing into one delicious cocktail!

Here’s the recipe:

3-4 strawberries
2-3 lemon slices
3 dashes of Peychauds Bitters
3 oz. of Empress Gin
1 1/2 oz. Laios Rosé
3/4 oz. Dolins Sweet Vermouth
2-4 spoonfuls of strawberry marmalade (depending on how sweet you like it)
Strawberries for garnish

Muddle strawberries and lemon slices with bitters. Add both gins, vermouth, and marmalade. Add ice and shake until cooked and mixed. Double strain into coupe glasses and add strawberries to garnish.

I love a good meal and this one was exceptional! Had this great dinner at a wonderful Fado restaurant in Lisbon.

I loved it so much I thought I would recreate it! This dish is called Portuguese Vina Dosh…definitely a taste of Portugal!! When I made it, I backed off the vinegar and upped the red wine. I also added potatoes to it for a delectable result.

It’s an easy recipe that turned out sooooooo yummy. Start a new tradition this Christmas and make this dish for your family and friends! I promise you it will not disappoint!!

What a yummy way to celebrate! Chocolate mousse and a chocolate cocktail! My neighbor made the mousse from a simple recipe and I got the cocktail recipe from subscription that I received for Christmas.

Here’s the cocktail recipe:

2 oz. bourbon
1/4 oz. Oaxacan chocolate syrup
3 dashes (NOT drops) of barrel aged coffee bitters
Small pinch of chili threads

Add liquor ingredients to a dry mixing glass. Fill the glass with ice and use a bar spoon to stir until mixing glass feels ice cold. Strain into rocks glass over a large ice cube. For the aromatic finishing touch, place a pinch of chili threads just on top of the large ice cube.

Drink and enjoy! Responsibly of course!

Last month, I had the privilege of attending the GM Conference for LM Restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I got the great opportunity to go to .restaurant for their excellent food and service. One of their signature Mediterranean restaurant brands.

I was NOT disappointed. It was gorgeous inside. We had the Moroccan Beef Skewers, Yellowtail Crudo, Bacon Wrapped Dates (pictured), Organic Claypot Chicken, and Crispy Skin Salmon. And wow! Was it all delicious!

Very happy with not only the food but the staff. Thank you, Deborah (our server), Mitria (the host), and Joel (the manager) for a beautiful experience overall. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.
