Job Description
We are looking for a graphic designer / receptionist to join our sign company.
Duties Include:
Taking orders from customers via email, phone, or walk in.
Writing invoices in Quickbooks
Taking payments from customers via phone or in person
Organizing stock room and maintaining inventory / cleanliness
Designing signage, decals, banners, vehicle graphics, etc
Occasionally creating logos
Creating layouts to send to customers for changes / approval
Following guidelines for both business and MUTCD sign design standards
The work environment is laid back and casual. This job is slower paced in the winter months when construction is slow, but very fast paced in the summertime during construction season. We are looking for someone who is reliable, good with people, and able to multitask as there is a lot of bouncing around between the reception side and graphic design side of this job. The sign world is very information dense, so be prepared to take notes and learn a lot about the processes of making signage!
Programs used:
SAI Flexi Design
Photoshop
Quickbooks
We will train for Flexi and Quickbooks, but some experience in computer design is helpful. Flexi will be the main design program used.
Pay is $15 an hour depending on experience.
Job Type: Full-time Mon - Thurs 8AM - 5PM, Friday 8AM - 4PM
