Fall StarBQ POSTPONED
We were prepared for clouds and light rain, but the weather forecasts have taken a dramatic turn for the worst.
COO, Matthew Anderson spoke directly with a chief meteorologist with the national weather service out of Omaha, Nebraska. They are predicting initially scattered thunderstorms which may fill in rapidly. Later in the evening, hail, dangerous lightning, and strong winds are predicted (as well as flash flooding).
We have had terrible luck weather-wise this year with our major events, and as difficult as this is to do, we MUST err on the side of caution. We are going to cancel the Fall StarBQ for this evening, and hope to revisit most of the major activities in a few short weeks.
On October 5th, we have planned our International Observe the Moon Night event. We will be talking with our associates, the Food Trucks, the 501st Legion, and all other StarBQ partners and TRY to move as many of the associated activities to this date. We will update you all on that progress within the next week.
Thank you ALL for your understanding. Please cross your fingers for some good weather for our final big event of the year on October 5th.
