A lot of the clients we've worked with have to do with travel, or destination marketing.
🌴
There's a lot of uncertainty around travel and when things will go back to normal...or the "new normal", we've been having to pivot (there's that word again) our strategy....a lot.
🌴
Recently we've been focusing on a phase approach:

⚠️ Critical phase - the phase we're currently in
🏐 Rebound phase - emerging from critical and entering a "new normal"
🩹 Recovery - this is where we're looking at international travel to take off (no pun intended), and this, for travel, will be a key indicator that we are beginning to stabilize

Some quick facts we've also learned:

Looking at searches and when ppl were looking to travel; Labor Day is a big target domestically. Think quick flights.

Las Vegas as a destination is up in search specifically for Labor Day travel by +191% Year Over Year (looking at same time last yr vs this yr), whereas last year New York was top searched.
New York is now ranked 13th most searched destination for Labor Day, this is due to the current market and it currently being viewed as the epicenter.

Searches around travel show promise but most searches are revealing September as the key market indicator for when we'll start to look at the 🏐Rebound Phase.

With all this said things could change at any moment given restrictions and neighboring markets. Hang in there and don't forget to P👏I👏V👏O👏T your strategy to meet the current market landscape.

As always, drop a 💕 in the comments if you'd like more information around strategy and how to align with current market conditions.

We're always here for you! Hang in there!

BRAND CONSISTENCY

So you’ve found your brand logo, colors, personality and determined your brand mission and values - AMAZING! 👏🏼 That’s a huge step. But beyond creating a brand the most important piece of a successful brand is consistency.

Never, I repeat, NEVER steer away from your brand on any platform (website, email, social media, print, etc.) under any circumstances. Your brand creates an experience between your business and your customers, when you gain brand recognition you build trust. Inconsistent messaging or visuals creates confusion and may even give the impression of an unorganized business, thus breaking trust with your community.

Follow these 5 steps for a quick brand audit:
1. Logo - is your social logo the same across all social media platforms? Same logo on your website and on other websites where your business is mentioned?
2. Colors - are you using the same ‘blue’ from your IG story graphics to the flyers you’re printing?
3. Fonts - are you using your brand fonts appropriately across all media?
4. Voice/Personality - is your verbiage consistent with your brand everywhere online and off? What about your engagement?
5. Visuals - are the illustrations consistent or image edits always the same?

Trust your creativity and go make cool s**t happen 👏🏼✨The creative process often looks like:1. This is awesome2. This is...

Trust your creativity and go make cool s**t happen 👏🏼

The creative process often looks like:
1. This is awesome
2. This is hard
3. This is bad
4. I’m not good enough
5. This isn’t so bad
6. This is awesome!

Wherever you may be in the creative process, keep going!

7 WEBSITE HOMEPAGE MUST-HAVES

70-80% of consumers research a business online before visiting in person or making a purchase. That's a pretty big percentage which is why it's super important the homepage of your website is strategically built to lead your visitors down the funnel and finally convert. Continue reading for 7 homepage must-haves every business needs:

1. Headline
A simple, straight-forward headline immediately informing your audience what your site has to offer. A headline should grab a visitors attention within 3 seconds and inspire them to learn more about your product or service.
2. Sub-headline
Extended description of what you do below the headline. Focus on a common pain point and how your product or service can fix that for your target audience.
3. Call-to-Action
Encourage viewers to dive deeper into your website or take action by strategically incorporating 2-3 CTA's throughout your homepage. For example, your main CTA may be encouraging someone to shop a new product, while a secondary CTA is encouraging visitors to see your upcoming events and a 3rd CTA encouraging email newsletter sign-ups.
4. Visuals
Most people are visual, so incorporate branded images, infographics, and videos that clearly show what you offer, why they need it, how to use it, etc. Less reading, more showing!
5. Benefits & Features
In describing what you do don't forget to include the benefits of your product or service and any extended features. Oftentimes this could be represented using visuals such as an infographic.
6. Navigation
Lead your visitors on a clear path throughout your website. Include navigation both at the top of the website and within the footer. Search boxes are also an easy way to help visitors find what they're looking for especially when you have a more complex website with a lot of pages and information.
7. Success Indicators
Customer testimonials, awards, recognition, etc. Featuring success indicators on your homepage gives you instant credibility and helps establish trust.

Is your website's homepage built to convert? If you're unsure, we'd be happy to review your site and make the necessary adjustments to help encourage more conversions. Just send us a DM!
