Who else got called out for talking too much in class? 🙋‍♂️

School was fun, but I’ll admit, I wasn’t always the best at sitting still. Curiosity and energy were my trademarks, which often meant I was the one disrupting with questions and comments (and maybe being a bit socially awkward).

Lectures had a way of making my mind wander, and I’d find myself chatting with the nearest classmate—much to the frustration of my teachers. More than once, I ended up in the hallway for it. But instead of reflecting on my behavior, my mind would drift even more. 💭

That’s where I daydreamed.

But some teachers took a different approach. When another student was struggling, I was asked to help explain the concept. Suddenly, my energy had a purpose, and I thrived. Helping others made the time more engaging, and for once, I felt valued rather than disruptive (though I get why I was sent to the hallway 🤣).

These experiences taught me something crucial:

✨ When energy is stifled, people feel frustrated and alienated. ✨ When energy is harnessed, people feel empowered and engaged.

It’s a reminder that with the right environment, anyone can flourish. Encouragement can turn boredom into passion, and that’s a lesson I carry with me every day in business.

Let's Talk About the "F" Word.

No, not that one – that comes later. I'm talking about failure. Yep, that one stings. 😡

Over the past 20 years, working with countless business owners, we've witnessed many face their first big "F" word and then walk away.

But here’s the thing: according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, around 20% of new businesses fail within the first two years, and 45% within five years. Owning a business is tough – no sugarcoating it.

Yet, there's a silver lining. 25% of new businesses make it to 15 years or more. One in four isn't bad at all. Even if your current venture doesn’t last 4-5 years, you’re likely to find success along the way.

So, if you’re just starting out and feeling like you’re drowning in a sea of "F" words, DON’T GIVE UP! 📣

Failure can be a powerful teacher. It shows you how to make better business decisions, reduces the chances of repeating mistakes, and often opens doors for new opportunities.

Remember, growing a business is about seizing the best opportunities – and sometimes, those opportunities are hidden in our failures. 💡

Consistency is a Superpower, and one of the keys to Manifestation. But...this is a hard one for me. Ever since I quit my comfortable, corporate job, consistency has been one the biggest professional challenges. Holding myself accountable to do the same tasks, day after day, is just not something that comes naturally to me.

My priority is showing up for my clients, because their relationship is extremely important to me. But, when it comes to showing up consistently for my business, I often fall short.

The truth is, consistency is a superpower. It is a key component to creating and maintaining success.

⭐️ Consistency Builds Momentum
⭐️ Consistency Creates Opportunities
⭐️ Consistency Builds Trust
⭐️ Consistency Leads to Success
⭐️ Consistency is the foundation for achieving your long term goals.

I’ve read that habits are developed over a range of 18 to 254 days, so I’m giving myself a challenge. I will dedicate time to grow my business consistently. I will work toward reaching my professional goals every day, until it becomes a habit.

Love this! Where would we be if we didn’t have help?

🤔 MAYBE THE 3 HARDEST WORDS 🤔

In the English Language --

"I need help!"

The most misunderstood statement 🫤

Of Modernity.

We Glorify the Individual, 🧗‍♂️

While Nature Doesn't Care. 🥀

We're not born alone; 👼

We don't survive alone. 👨‍👩‍👧

But we learn to think that we're alone. 😔

And I get it!

Even the Best of Us 😎

Get Let down, 🤦

Disappointed, 🙄

Coddled. 😝

I've had the doubts

Creep in 😰

That made me wonder if I'm competent,

If I can handle things

ON MY OWN...🦸

Eternally on my own...

Because the World & People Suck -- 🤬

Right!? 🤷‍♂️

Again, Nature doesn't care. 🌎

It just asks that we Live. ❤️🤲
