After 30 years in the industry, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Yebo. We have had the pleasure of serving hundreds of clients over the years by providing high-quality innovative creative, production and media solutions. With our team of brilliantly minded and service-driven employees we were able to repeatedly exceed our clients’ expectations.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our clients and colleagues with whom we have worked so successfully over the years and with whom so many wonderful friendships and memories were made. It’s summer, but far from a break. The Playground has started, and our interns have already conquered their first day 🤓!

Get to know the new kids, like Greg Barengolts. He’s the third Greg in our office, but first Brand Manager intern Greg. This VCU grad loves running 🏃which will come in handy as he gives his fellow interns the rundown on projects all summer. Also a big cook, Greg and the team are sure to cook up something great for their very own client 😙🤌

It’s , and we’ve got just the read for you 📖🥳

Our very own copywriter, Isabel Greenhalgh, wrote “Muffin Magic” with AD pal Chrissy Boals back in 2021. A baking pastime during COVID and childlike curiosity led them to wonder, “What on Earth goes on inside an oven?!”. Spoiler alert: lots of gymnastics and rhyming 🫐

Originally created for one elementary-school librarian in particular, its popularity has grown! The team printed, sold, and donated ~100 copies, many of which now live in public-school libraries across Richmond 💙

Cancer can be a taboo topic—it’s scary, sad, confusing, and hard to comprehend. Cancer Champs at Massey Cancer Center wants to talk, teach, and band together until it’s no longer so tough 💪 A commendable mission, Cancer Champs was missing a logo and consistent style guide.

Eager to help, we created a brand identity AND some: materials for Champs to bring to talks and group sessions, social, stickers, and banners. It's approachable, reciprocal, and symbolizes the voice Cancer Champs gives survivors and communities 🗣

How We Got Here

Back when couches blended with carpets and George Michael was dominating the airwaves, a little shop called Barber Martin opened its doors. And a handful of years ago, some of the best and brightest creatives from the industry decided to join forces with the almost-thirty-year-old retail shop and look toward a new future.

Like our CEO, the word Yebo is from Southern Africa. It’s a greeting. But not the formal kind reserved for small talk and awkward run-ins at the grocery store. Yebo slaps you on the back and asks you how the hell you’ve been-the one genuinely happy to see you. And for us, Yebo is the way we approach the work.
