On Valentine's Day 2003, Michele Allen Rhudy and Jonathan Rhudy cooked up the idea for a different type of communications and PR firm while sitting in a booth at Joe's Inn in Richmond, Va. With an 18-month-old in a high chair, they doodled their first business plan on a paper napkin while feeding noodles to that little girl.

That toddler, Morgan Rhudy, is now 24 and works at one of Virginia's largest corporate communications firms.
