This statistic from a recent study by WebAIM highlights a critical oversight website owners are making when launching new sites and failing to prioritize the importance of web accessibility.
Not only is it a matter of ethical responsibility, but it also opens up our content to a wider audience, including the 61 million adults in the U.S. alone who live with a disability.
I also believe Google will start showing greater importance to sites that make it a priority.
