I get asked a lot to do mini color analysis appointments for parties and events. And this is why I have to say no:
It’s not a party trick! A full experience includes beginning with a color talk explaining the process and answer your questions.
The draping process to find your season takes 30-45 minutes. We compare dozens of colors on you to arrive at your season.
I know you see videos showing just a couple of comparisons, but it’s not that simple. It takes time as I evaluate the way your skin reacts to the colors and I’m answering questions along the way.
Makeup application takes time as well. I always cater this to your preferences. Love a lot of makeup? Let’s do extra. Prefer a simple routine? That’s perfect.
The rating process takes 20-30 minutes. We go through every single color in your season so you can not only see what they look like on you, but to find which ones are your wow colors.
Along the way we’re taking photos, chatting and answering questions and you’re getting tips and ideas on how to make this work for you with real clothes.
I’ll also show you how to use your fan and you need some time to choose the makeup you want to take home.
So which part of this would you want in a mini color analysis?
You might want to ask yourself why you’re interested in a color analysis. Is it just because it seems like something fun to do?
Or is it because you want to change your life and the way you shop and apply your makeup? It’s definitely fun…most clients comment how much fun they had on their way out the door.
