“Are you shooting your shot even if you think they’re out of your league?”

Let me set you guys straight on this based on my own experience. For most of the men in this group there is no such thing as a woman who is out of your league. If you are working on your life goals, working hard, working hard and working out, and know the basics of how to dress better there is no woman in your age group that is not approachable.

A woman is a woman. She is a person with all the strengths and weaknesses like any other. She has needs and desires, fears and concerns. Regardless of how beautiful and attractive she is she is still afraid of being alone like everyone else. What's worse is that she's afraid of being with a man for the wrong reasons.

Take your shot and ask her out.

I honestly appreciate Tom Hanks and his work on telling the stories of the men who served during World War II. What drives people from his generation to continue to tell these stories after so many decades?

I know my answer, but what’s yours? Why are you fascinated with stories from this era?

“Done in collaboration with the History Channel, World War II with Tom Hanks will span 20 episodes and launch globally in 200 territories and 40 languages. Per a new report, the documentary series will arrive on screens next month, with May 25 as its premiere date. The series will, according to the network, provide “a sweeping and definitive retelling” of the deadliest, most consequential conflict in human history. Iconic moments from the conflict will likely make it into the series, like the bits Hanks himself portrayed in the 1998 film Saving Private Ryan.”

“Archaeologists Found 115,000-Year-Old Human Footprints Where They Shouldn’t Be
They might just rewrite the history of human migration.”

“Seven hominin footprints were confidently identified, and given the fossil and archeological evidence for the spread of H. sapiens into the Levant and Arabia during [the era 130,000 to 80,000 years ago] and absence of Homo neanderthalensis from the Levant at that time, we argue that H. sapiens was responsible for the tracks at Alathar. In addition, the size of the Alathar footprints is more consistent with those of early H. sapiens than H. neanderthalensis.”

Milena Canonero isn't a name that we are familiar with, but Deborah Nadoolman is. But the two are responsible for two of the most famous period costumes of the eighties.

In fact, Ms. Canonero won the Oscar for “Best Costume Design” for her work on “Chariots of Fire,” while “Raiders...” wasn't nominated. But does anyone remember the name of Robert Redford’s character, or try to reproduce this specific look? So who is the real winner?

For a brief period in 1985, this was “The Look,” and it led to a bump in sales at Banana Republic. These pictures of Robert Redford in this costume were everywhere for a short period while this movie was supposed to be the next “big thing, “ but “Out of Africa” was also accused of trying to capitalize on the success of “Raiders” and “Temple of Doom.” Eventually, it faded in popularity and was forgotten around the time “Romancing the Stone” hit videotape.

This outfit is a great alternative to the “Raiders Wear,” especially with the great vest and long coat. I would stick with my daily wear fedora, though.
