“Last week, Tidmore was in New Orleans as one of 31 surviving Rosie the Riveters being honored during the National WWII Museum's 2026 American Spirit Awards, a gathering that comes as the country prepares to mark its 250th anniversary and the number of living Americans who remember World War II continues to shrink.”

… it’s not because of any one thing in particular. But I have not been this happy in a very long time. Shelley Lynn gets a lot of credit, but I think my entire change in attitude and the way that I’m approaching My life now is the cause of my happiness. I changed my perspective.

Since I adopted the “Learn To Self-Rescue, nobody is coming to save you!” mentality and started to become the hero I been waiting for everything else has fallen into place.

it was a fun idea at the time. It was an incredible “What if?” for last summer.

“The results from 3I/ATLAS show how realistic it is to detect a signal with the technology we have today,” said coauthor, Breakthrough Listen member, and Furman University physics professor Valeria Garcia Lopez in a statement. “That is why it is important to keep searching for technosignatures, even from objects we might not expect to have signals.”

Scientists from the SETI Institute at Berkeley University, and Breakthrough Listen analyzed 3I/ATLAS for technosignatures.
