1. TikTok has announced the launch of TikTok Pulse, a new contextual advertising solution that ensures brandsβ ads are placed next to the top 4% of all videos on TikTok. This is a solution that will also be the FIRST ad product that involves a 50/50 revenue share with creators.
2. Instagram is testing expanding the "Get A Quote" feature to help businesses qualify leads. The new button allows users to set up custom questions to ask customers prior to starting a conversation. Once customers fill out the questionnaire, they can then quickly request a quote from a business about a product or service. Select businesses can now put a βGet Quoteβ button on their Instagram profile or add a βGet Quoteβ sticker in their Stories.
3. Spotify announced this week that it will become the first music streaming brand to have an official presence within Roblox. The launch of βSpotify Islandβ is a place where artists and fans will gather to play interactive quests, unlock exclusive content and buy artist merchandise.
4. Pinterest has a new app to support their Live E-Commerce offerings! Select Creators have been chosen to have access to the new "Pinterest TV Studio" which helps promote selling via Live streaming on Pinterest.
5. Meta has "sweetened the deal" on Reels! They are adjusting how payouts are calculated, aimed at rewarding creators across a range of audience sizes who are making high quality original content that resonates with people. Additionally, Meta is also introducing βChallengesβ on FB, βa new incentive that helps creators in the Reels Play bonus program unlock new ways to earn from their content, up to $4,000 in a given month.β
