Had this client gone the cheap or ai route, they would have been scrambling trying to get their website back online and remove the malware themselves. When it comes to ranking on Google, most SEO agencies focus on one thing: Content.

While this is the foundation of ranking well on search engines, most agencies overlook how crucial a well designed website also matters - they focus more on writing 400 blocks of exaggerated text, rather than capturing attention. When you look at a website, you don't want to read a novel in order to make a decision of whether you want to purchase their product or call about their services, you need something that catches your attention, provides clear next steps, and guides you through what it's like to work with them or buy from them.

Speed is one of the most crucial steps when it comes to the age of AI - not just content. Don't JUST look at what Google wants, but also what your customer wants and how you can keep them engaged with your website.

If you are a local business, utilizing your Google Business Profile to its full extent will not only help you with showing up higher on the "map pack" but will also help others to view you as a more credible business.

Filling out your business information online can feel repetitive at times but by building a "content system" about your business online, not only does Google begin to understand your business better - in order to show you to others online, but now with AI search being thrown into the mix, the more authoritative you are online, the more often your business will be referenced!

If you want to increase conversions on your website, don’t use your business name as the title on your home page. Instead, it's recommended to have a quality call-to-action as the first point of contact, such as 'Free Roofing Inspections Lehi' for a roofing company. You can also say things like “Plumbing Inspections in Salt Lake” to help display more info of WHAT you offer. This helps get the visitor excited and encourages them to take the desired action, leading to more conversions and revenue, not just telling them WHO you are.
