Small Business Saturday had us shopping ‘til we dropped! One of the coolest things about shopping small and local is how even my kids get to know the shop owners and where all the goodies come from. We’ve got Ashley , our candle girl; Ally, Mom’s running store friend , Charlotte the glasses queen and taters Mom ; Krissy, the soap lady ; and so many more. It’s so fun watching the kids light up when they recognize y’all and pick out their gifts. Or make special requests sorry Krissy haha.

Huge thanks to all of you for being so sweet to them (and patient, ha!) while they made their choices. We even ran into Julie on our spree, and of course, the kids had to end the day at Game Junkies.

If you’re shopping for Christmas, hit up your local small shops—it’s worth it!

This song is so special to our family. If you know our family there will be ukuleles brought out and lots of singing especially if it’s your birthday. This is a song my grandpa sang all the time and was a song my other grandpa loved too. It’s my grandpas first birthday in heaven today. We miss him so much but know he is singing away with Jesus today.
