Today, we honor Juneteenth—a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

At Mancini Public Relations, we recognize the importance of reflecting on our nation's history while continuing to amplify diverse voices, foster understanding, and build stronger communities.

Today, we celebrate freedom, honor those who fought for it, and reaffirm our commitment to creating a more inclusive future for all.

For nonprofits on a calendar-year fiscal year, now is the ideal moment to evaluate progress and adjust strategy before year-end pressure begins.

(For those at fiscal year end, we got you! We'll post about that, too.)

Happy Pride Month from MPR! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

We see each day that diversity makes our communities stronger and that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and respected.

MPR is proud to uphold our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging and to support LGBTQ+ equality through our membership in the UN Human Rights' Partnership for Global LGBTIQ+ Equality.

This month, we celebrate love, authenticity, courage, and the many voices that make our communities vibrant and strong.

Many nonprofits are approaching fiscal year end right now, even if the calendar year is nowhere near December. And that matters.

Fiscal year-end outreach is more than a financial exercise. It is a strategic opportunity to strengthen donor relationships, reinforce impact, and build momentum for the year ahead.

Before your fiscal year closes, ask:
✔ Have we thanked supporters meaningfully?
✔ Are we clearly communicating impact?
✔ Is leadership aligned in messaging and priorities?
✔ Are we balancing urgency with stewardship?
✔ Are we using this moment to strengthen future engagement?

The strongest organizations do not treat fiscal year end as simply closing the books. They use it to deepen trust and position themselves for long-term fundraising success.

We explore this in our latest blog on strategic fiscal year-end outreach for nonprofits.

Impact measurement is only powerful when it is clearly communicated. Translating outcomes into compelling stories strengthens both donor understanding and philanthropic investment. What's important to consider?

Leadership transitions can feel uncertain. But they are also one of the most powerful opportunities your organization has to build trust, strengthen relationships, and elevate your visibility.

How you communicate in this moment matters.

Most boards think fundraising means asking for money.

That is only part of the picture.

The strongest boards facilitate philanthropy.

They:
✔ Make introductions
✔ Thank donors
✔ Share their story
✔ Create opportunities to engage
✔ Lead by example

This is where fundraising becomes more natural and more effective.

When board members understand their role, everything changes.

If your organization is ready to strengthen board engagement, we can help.

Mancini Public Relations builds strategies that turn boards into powerful fundraising leaders.
Let’s talk.
