So hubs and I have been working really hard to support local small businesses, especially since I've been able to find support for mine. One business we found lately that we have absolutely fallen in love with is a husband and wife-run company, that makes candles and similar products (candles, scented wax tarts, handmade tart burners, etc.) that look and/or smell, no joke, like desserts. The first piece of theirs that we saw, for example, looked like a piece of blueberry pie.

While we don't currently have the money to pay full price for a handmade tart burner (as gorgeous as they are), we decided to support their company by purchasing a few of their tarts.

A project I've been especially excited about (mostly because of my newly-refound ability to smell, don't judge me =P) was designing a new tart burner for our apartment. This particular one was painted to look like one of Winnie the Pooh's hunny pots. It might look like an easy project, but it took a good few days and SO much paint. If anyone wants to invest in the materials for a similar product, I would be glad to make more for sale!
