Contrast the "Lugs" with my Uggs. Mom got me these in 1985 for warmth before they became popular, I really thought "Uggs" stood for Ugly. I kept them - it's function over fashion - they are warm! How about you - what have you bought in the past and kept for years?

Don't be sucked in by online ads and pop ups - 95% of the time they are a disappointment. I was lulled into buying this rich looking polo for my husband. As you can see, the real shirt is very faded, thin fabric and poorly made. TRY not to buy unless you've seen it in person first.

How do your accessories work WITH you? Look for pieces that 'mimic' your features - here's a great example -- notice how each woman has a necklace that "repeats" her hair whether curly or straight!
