KB Promo

KB Promo I grow brands people recognize, trust and choose. I am passionate about helping brands grow, and I value open communication, transparency, efficiency and fun.

From rebuilding multiple company identities to creating comprehensive visual systems, I leverage my marketing, art direction and editorial skillsets to build brand experiences that connect with audiences on both emotional and practical levels. I believe it's just as important to see the big picture as well as the minor details. The right person cares about both, to ensure a brand is seen in the ri

ght light. Asking questions rather than assuming is the only way to understand customers' wants, needs, audiences, restraints, longterm plans and so much more. Let's chat! Feel free to reach out via phone or email and we'll get a time on the calendar to discuss your brand, your needs, your budget and your timeline.

Sometimes people think their event is too small to bring in a professional to help them with their branded merchandise. Nonsense! I handle the merch for this 16-person golf outing every year, and I love doing it. I find the right gift, for the right quantity at the right price point. Delivered on time. And look at the amazing detail on this screen printing! The text in that flag is quite small, and it's as crisp as can be. Don't miss out on getting a great-looking product for your event. Too much can go wrong when you do it yourself.

Whether you need clothing for your team to wear, items to give away at events that people will actually use or any other reason you need a branded product, I create a curated collection of items that meets your needs and I handle the entire process from start to finish so you don't have to worry about a thing. You can DM me here or email me at [email protected].

BIG congratulations to my client, Cassie, on the grand opening of Inner Artist Studio in St. Clair Shores! It's a delightful arts and crafts space for individuals, parties and the community.

While not every project can be overly creative, as the brand dictates the look, feel and voice, it's a treat when a client comes along that allows for truly fun design.

Inner Artist Studio is a DIY arts and crafts space that opens this Saturday in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. The client already had a logo, but not a fully formed brand. I helped her develop that then built the website, created a leave-behind postcard as well as a very cool business card, which I am really excited to get back from the printer. (I'll share soon!)

I love communicating through graphic design. It's the skill I learned first in my professional career and it's still the one I enjoy most.

For this client, I completed her brand identity, designed and ordered her business cards, built her website, and set up her SEO, Google search and Google business page.

Here’s this week’s Shortcut:

Make Your Pricing Page Do Sales Work

Most pricing pages list products or services and their prices, often only including a short description for the customer to interpret. Your goal is to help the customer make an easy choice they feel is right for them. Add to each product or service who each option is right for and what outcome the customer can expect to make your pricing page work more like a sales tool.

DO THIS:
Add one sentence to each pricing tier that describes the type of customer it's designed for. "This option is right for you if..." removes ambiguity and helps customers self-select instead of waffling between choices.

In simplest terms, marketing gives words and design reason.

Words and design play a significant role in my multifaceted skill set, allowing me to provide more for my clients. I went to school for graphic design and photography, but I was always a writer, writing songs as a little girl, plays in elementary school and my first novel in middle school. (Who cared that it had 32 plot lines?)

I added copywriting to my list of skills while working as an art director for an ad agency. The copy that was coming in from freelancers frankly sucked, so I went to the owner of the company and told him he should save his money and let me write the copy. He gave me a shot, and I went on to write much of the client copy during my time there.

Then I found marketing, tying together all the creative and strategic elements - building brand identities, websites, stories and more - that I love. Designing and then executing that grand plan ensures all the beautiful work captivates and motivates the right audiences.

I love reaching the client’s destination, but I also love the journey just as much.
