Leadership Recruitment Initiative

RPU40 is formally opening applications for leadership positions as we advance into our next phase of organizational growth.

This is a strategic expansion effort focused on strengthening chapter infrastructure, increasing operational excellence, and collaborating more intentionally with affiliated chapters across the state and along the coast. We are seeking qualified individuals who are prepared to contribute at a high level and commit to measurable impact.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

Demonstrated experience in a formal leadership capacity

Relevant educational background in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related discipline

A professional referral that substantiates leadership capability and ex*****on strength

This is a serious commitment. Selected leaders will play a direct role in scaling our professional network, refining programming, strengthening partnerships, and elevating brand positioning.

Congratulations to our founder on this Rochester Professionals Under 40 😉

Today's member spotlight is our very own marketing event coordinator Taleah Donahue!

Taleah Donahue is an emerging business professional building a career at the intersection of experiential marketing, events, and brand strategy. She will begin her studies at Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship in Spring 2026, focusing on business and entrepreneurship, where she aims to strengthen her ability to launch and scale high-impact ventures.

She previously attended SUNY Genesee Community College, studying business, and quickly stood out as a campus leader. Taleah served as Success Network Coordinator for the The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and was honored with the 2024 Impact Leader of the Year Award in recognition of her leadership, initiative, and contributions to student engagement.

Taleah’s professional journey began in hospitality during college, where she developed strong customer experience and operations skills. She later transitioned into experiential marketing, working with multiple marketing agencies on live events, brand activations, and consumer engagement campaigns. While at GCC, she secured an internship with The Caddy Girls, which evolved into an ongoing role, further expanding her experience in event ex*****on and brand representation within sports and lifestyle environments.

She intends to grow Rochester Professionals Under 40 into a community focused on meaningful networking and professional development!

She also holds a Fashion Industry Essentials certification from Parsons School of Design - The New School, reflecting her broader interest in branding, consumer trends, and the business of style.

Looking ahead, Taleah’s goal is to build and scale her own marketing and events-focused business, helping corporate events create strategic, memorable experiences that drive connection and measurable growth.

Outside of work and school, she enjoys playing volleyball, golfing, and studying wine, and is always looking for new ways to combine learning, networking, and real-world experience

We’re excited to share that this Rochester Professionals Under 40 Relaunch Mixer at Bar Bantam is one of the first corporate events Mixing Hues is helping curate.

This collaboration is centered on intentional networking, elevated experiences, and creating space for real conversations and meaningful collaboration among Rochester’s next generation of professionals.

Tali Donahue, Mixing Hues’ in-house Event Coordinator, will be spearheading the relaunch of Rochester Professionals Under 40 leading strategy, ex*****on, and overall event experience.
