Subject: Urgent Appeal: Bicycles and Repair Contacts Needed for The Men's Haven Residents

You may have heard that the City of Rock Hill's free My Ride bus service was officially suspended on May 22, 2026. It has been replaced by an on-demand shuttle service, York County Access, which charges a fee of $2.50 per ride and requires advance scheduling. This change creates a significant new barrier for many vulnerable individuals struggling to get to work.

To ensure the motivated residents at The Men's Haven can maintain their employment and continue working to break the cycle of chronic homelessness, we have an urgent need for reliable transportation.

The Men's Haven is appealing for your support in two key ways:
1. Bicycle Donations: Please donate any unused, old, adult-sized bicycles.
2. Repair Connections: We are seeking connections to individuals or businesses willing to volunteer their time or services to repair and maintain these bikes.
Your contribution directly supports Nancy Foster, the Executive Director, and helps empower these men on their personalized paths to renewal and purpose.
