My daughter’s prom kicks. She hand painted and bejeweled everything on these heels.
They were clear before, took her a week to do this. They turned out wonderfully!

While I do like to capture the different hues of sunsets, the amazing uniqueness of flowers and how water glistens in the sun, something about clouds fascinates me. I lived in Dixie Alley from 4 months to 4 years old and at the tip of Tornado Alley from 7(?) to 9 years old, so the color, texture and even shape of clouds tell me the kind of weather we’re going to have.
Some of these clouds produced severe thunderstorms east of my location, as we are not prone to severe weather in my area, the climate is just not conducive to such weather events. We’ve had snow squalls, had a Derecho event in 2021, but other than that-nothing of note. Only tornado warning I can remember was August 10th, 2008, the day after the birth of my first child. We were forced into the hallway (on the second floor🤦🏼‍♀️) away from the windows of the hospital, due to a funnel, possible touchdown between my town and the town west of us.

Often, we overlook what is right in front of us. We consider it mundane or that we see these things all of the time.
If we stop and take in what is around us, breathe in deep and refocus, we will find the peace we so desperately seek.

Hello everyone,
Once life calms down, I will update the purpose of this page. I haven't quite figured it out yet, all I knew is I wanted to cleanse my pages app of "Dave's 3D art". Since I am the creator and owner of this page, and he nuked our lives, the name is fitting.
The drawing in the cover photo was a quick one my daughter did and the photograph is one I took. I'll add some more of my photography just as placeholders.
