🍔🌱 ROOTED IN ROCK SPRINGS: Broadway Burger Station

There are some places where walking through the door feels a little like stepping back in time—and Broadway Burger Station is definitely one of them.

Located at 628 Broadway Street, this Downtown favorite serves up classic diner vibes alongside burgers, fries, sandwiches, shakes and malts. The 1950s-inspired atmosphere, complete with red-and-white booths and retro touches, makes the experience almost as much fun as the food.

And those burgers? There are plenty to choose from! The menu ranges from the Broadway Double Cheeseburger and Smokey Sam to the aptly named King and James Dean—plus an elk burger for a little Wyoming twist. Add some onion rings or fries and finish it off with a shake or malt, and you’ve got the full diner experience.

Broadway Burger Station is a good reminder that Rooted in Rock Springs isn’t only about shopping local. It’s about eating local, too.

🌱🛍️ ROOTED IN ROCK SPRINGS: It’s all in the Details Boutique

If you’re looking for a reminder that you don’t have to leave Rock Springs—or automatically head online—to find something unique, our next Rooted in Rock Springs business is a great place to start.

It’s All in the Details Boutique is a locally owned boutique located at 115 Blair Avenue in Downtown Rock Springs.

Step inside and you’ll find a carefully curated mix of home décor, seasonal finds, gifts and those little finishing touches that can make a house feel like home. And, as you can see from the photo, they’re already stocked with plenty of fun fall and Halloween finds! 🎃

But there’s something else we appreciate about It’s All in the Details: a history of working with other local businesses. They’ve helped organize collaborative shopping events such as the Downtown Boutique Stroll, bringing several locally owned shops together and encouraging customers to explore more of what Rock Springs has to offer. Anna, the owner, also chairs the URA's Promotions Team!

That spirit of collaboration is a big part of what Rooted in Rock Springs is all about.

🎄 CALLING ALL PERFORMERS! 🎤🎶

Christmas in the Park is getting ready for another magical season, and we want YOU to be part of it!

We’re looking for schools, churches, choirs, dance groups, performing arts organizations, youth programs, musicians and other community groups to help fill Bunning Park with entertainment this holiday season.

✨ You don’t need a full hour-long show!
Have a group that can sing a few songs or perform for just 10–15 minutes? Perfect! Have a choir, dance group or band that can entertain for 30 minutes or an hour? We’d love that too!

Performances will primarily take place Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, November 28–December 19, generally between 6–8 p.m., with additional opportunities December 20 & 21 and potentially other evenings.

Christmas music is welcome, but we’re open to all kinds of family-friendly entertainment that adds to the fun and festive atmosphere.

✨ 20 Years of Impact — Before & After ✨
📍 503 5th Street — The Underground

Sometimes a transformation doesn’t require completely reinventing a building — it’s about seeing its potential and investing in the details.

The transformation at 503 5th Street is a great example. A once fairly plain façade was given an entirely new look with updated finishes, a bold new color scheme, awning, signage and other improvements that created a much more inviting storefront.

Today, it’s home to The Underground Professional Hair Salon — another locally owned business adding life, activity and services to Downtown.

Projects like this matter. When property and business owners invest in their buildings, those improvements don’t stop at the property line. One improved storefront helps strengthen an entire block, encourages additional investment and makes Downtown a more welcoming place to visit, work and do business.

Twenty years of revitalization has been made up of projects both big and small — and together, they’ve made quite a difference.
