It took me a little while to really reflect on 2025 and find the right words. This year was exhausting, challenging, and it went by way too fast but it was also incredibly rewarding. Almost four years ago, Lola decided to chase her dream, and I chose to help in any way I could. That decision led me into sound, booking, live production, and its all things I never expected would become my passion. I’m deeply grateful to Lola for diving in headfirst and letting me be part of it with her.
This year, I stepped back a bit from booking and leaned more into production and live sound, while also taking on more of a tour-manager role. I got to work closely with Lola and the guys on tightening everything, from travel and load-ins to their overall sound. They trusted me with so much behind the scenes, along with running FOH and monitors for almost every show. It wasn’t always easy, and it definitely came with challenges, but I’ve loved every part of it.
I’ve been lucky to learn from some incredible engineers, and I finally feel like I’m really understanding the ins and outs of live sound. Being on the road has taught me how to adapt, problem-solve, and stay steady no matter what gets thrown our way. And the best part is I get to do all of this side by side with Lola. Being able to travel to places I never would have gone otherwise, with my girlfriend and my best friends, is something I don’t take for granted. The guys in the band have truly become family, and I’m grateful to be part of this journey and to keep growing in my role. It’s also been super cool to have both of my brothers join and help in their own ways, with Jordy taking pictures/ videos and Estin coming along to be an extra hand.
I still have a lot to learn, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come, from just wanting to help Lola chase her dream, to finding my own passion along the way. 2025 was a year full of growth.
I’m excited for 2026 and everything it brings. The ups, the downs, and everything in between.
