We lost our founder, Lois Cain, on July 1st at the age of 97.

Lois started Cain & Company in 1973, in an industry that was almost entirely run by men. She didn't have a blueprint, so she made one up as she went. Over 50 years later, we're still here, inspired by the woman who laid the path for our agency to become what it is today.

Celebrating women isn't a month for us. It's been part of who we are since Lois Cain opened the agency in 1973. Over 50 years later, that hasn't changed.

Here's to wrapping up Women's History Month from our team of 11 women (and 2 very outnumbered men who keep up just fine). 🥂

We don't skip training. But San Diego definitely made it easier to say yes. ☀️

We attended Workamajig's Project Management Bootcamp to take a deep dive into our systems.

When project management is working, nobody notices. That's the standard we set for ourselves on every project.

For our clients, it looks like:
✔ Accurate quoting
✔ Airtight project tracking
✔ Smoother workflows & faster turnaround
✔ Clearer reporting

Basically, better project management on our end = better results on yours.

From typewriters to a truly unhinged number of Google Chrome tabs. 40 years ago, Amy walked into an agency that looked very different than it does today.

She built her career here and helped shape Cain & Company as it’s grown and changed over the years. Her mark on our agency is impossible to miss. We’re lucky to have her.

A lot has changed in 2025, but we’re carrying our legacy and a whole lot of strategy into 2026.

Veterans Day appreciation for our copywriter Christopher Clukey today! 🇺🇸

He served just over 4 years in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic on KC-135 refueling planes. We asked how his service still shapes the way he works now, and what he said really landed (pun intended ✈️):

“The team is what counts the most. Individuals with skill and commitment are crucial, but nothing happens without collective effort and the ability to depend on each other. Even when I was in charge of a jet, nothing I’d learned was of any use without the other airmen working with me to get her ready to fly the mission.”
