Brooke Greenwald wrote something in her Forbes.com piece this week that every business leader needs to sit with.

"The tools should grow with us. We should not disappear into the tools. The cost of AI is a cost. The value of human experience is something else entirely. It is priceless."

That is the whole argument in four sentences.

AI is not the threat. Losing yourself in it is.

"I am pro-AI. Very much so. But I am pro-AI when led by a person, used with purpose and grounded in authentic human experience. AI can build a draft, surface research and offer suggestions. But you still have to make it your own. You still have to guide it. You still have to know what you are trying to say, why it matters and whether it is true."

That is the risk nobody is talking about right now. Not replacement. Sameness.

When every company uses the same tools in the same way, messaging starts to sound indistinguishable, brands start to feel similar, and products start to blur together. The problem is not the tool. It is the loss of the human layer.
