What you’re looking at here is halftoning 👇

The first image looks like a full, detailed photo—but when we prep it for DTF printing, it actually gets converted into thousands of tiny dots (second image).

🔥 From a distance: it blends into a smooth, detailed image

That’s how we’re able to print photos, shading, and all those fine details onto shirts! We can halftone to any color of shirt taking the shirt color out of the design. For example, all the black in this photo will actually be the shirt with no black ink.
