I have the best job. Last week I got to spend time in Tahoe teaching a few workshops at the Amplify Good Conference for nonprofit leaders. I love that they poured into the nonprofits in this way and LOVED to see nonprofit leaders take the time to collaborate and learn. Everyone got to take a home a copy of Marketing Basics for Nonprofits and I committed to be an ongoing resource for them. We're better together!

My cup is so full! Last week I got to teach a workshop to college students in . This brings me so much joy to teach and pour wisdom and encouragement into them. I was so charged after our class but this surprise today makes my heart overflow (maybe a few tears too!). Not only do I get to teach a workshop which I love, but I am truly making a difference for these students. It's such a privilege to have this opportunity. 💛

This weekend you should go checkout the new bookstore in Granite Bay, ! Why? 1. it's a bookstore, reason enough. 2. You can support a local business. ♥️ 3. Great place to get that last minute gift for your favorite bookworm tomorrow! 📚 Oh and 4, because my books are sold there! And by the looks of it, I'm keeping company with some other pretty awesome authors!

This year has been unexpected in the most beautiful ways. I'm so thankful for my clients and I've loved to see their businesses and orgs flourish.

If meeting John Maxwell got a spot on my feed, then definitely deserves one. What a season I'm having meeting icons whose advice I have been implementing in my own life and business! (Ask my daughter how I totally "fan-girled" when we spotted Jesse. 🙈She made me promise I wouldn't say anything embarrassing so I just smiled big! 😁)

🍌I've been a fan of the @ owner for a few years. His are one of the few videos I will watch all the way through because his thoughts on leadership, on the fan (customer) experience, creating joy and finding our calling are so valuable.

Find people that inspire you. They don't need to be (and probably shouldn't be) your idols, but let them be your beacon of how to do better and be better in this one precious life we're given.

The banana ball experience, from the welcome, meeting Jesse, the pregame, all the incredible experiences during the game and the post-party were full of joy and core memory making. What a start to summer!

Full-circle moment.

One of the ways I’ve grown my business is by constantly learning—reading books and surrounding myself with people who are smarter than me. That mindset has helped me build a successful business and work with some truly incredible clients.

Last week, I had the chance to meet John Maxwell with one of those clients. He’s been one of those influential voices in my journey, and getting to meet him in person was pretty incredible.

Get out of your comfort zone and do something different! The Canva Create conference was that for me. I use Canva every day but not to any extent that it can help me in my work.
My mind was blown at the new features and I can't wait to implement them into my workflow. What could you do to shake things up and reengage in your job??
