Absolutely. I’d lean into the Halloween metaphor of masks while making the message feel deeper than a typical Halloween event. The hook should make someone stop and think, “Wait… what mask am I wearing?” — and then make them want to experience the evening.

🎃✨ BEYOND THE MASKS | October 18 at 6 PM

Halloween is the one night of the year when we intentionally put on a mask…
but what about all the other masks we wear?

The strong one.
The people-pleaser.
The “I’m fine” one.
The perfectionist.
The caretaker.
The one who keeps everyone happy while quietly losing touch with herself.

What if, for one evening, you didn’t have to be any of them?

Join us for BEYOND THE MASKS — an intimate evening of mindfulness, reflection, movement, sound, journaling, ceremonial cacao, and deep self-exploration.

This isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about remembering who you were before you learned you had to be someone else.

Come curious.
Come exactly as you are.
Come ready to look beneath the roles, stories, expectations and identities you’ve been carrying.

Unmask. Release. Remember. Return.

And maybe…
the most beautiful thing you discover that evening
is the you that was never actually lost. 🤎

✨ THE POWER OF NOW ✨
A Sacred Mindfulness Experience

What if peace isn’t something you have to find… but something you stop leaving?

Join me for an evening of slowing down, reconnecting, and returning to the only place life is ever truly happening—the present moment.

Together we’ll explore how presence can quiet the noise of fear, overthinking, and distraction, allowing us to meet life with greater clarity, intention, and trust. Inspired by timeless wisdom from contemplative traditions—including the Islamic concept of Qadr (Divine Decree)—this experience invites us to align ourselves with what the Divine is unfolding, rather than trying to force life to our will.

This is more than a class—it’s an opportunity to gently come home to yourself.

🌿 Our evening will include:
• Ceremonial Cacao
• Breathwork
• Mindful Movement
• Guided Meditation & Stillness
• Sound Bath
• Reflective Journaling
• Fire Release Ceremony

There are a few principles that we all know matter, but so often forget to intentionally practice: connection, nourishment, movement, and taking a moment to pause. These aren’t just topics discussed at Hippo Social Club—they’re lived and experienced.

As a mom of three, life is beautifully full. I’m constantly moving, giving, serving, and juggling all the responsibilities that come with this season. As much as I genuinely love it, I’ve realized that I often forget to pause long enough to care for my own needs. Lately, the one I’ve been most deprived of is connection.

I’ve been learning that before I can deeply reconnect with others, I have to reconnect with myself. Sometimes that looks like sitting in a friend’s backyard, sharing our hearts. Sometimes it’s enjoying an unhurried dinner with someone who makes me feel seen. And sometimes it’s gathering in spaces like Hippo Social Club.

Today we began in a circle, sharing openly and authentically. We talked about nourishing our bodies in ways that truly support us. We learned from doctor Yoo Lee how to incorporate Gua Cha into our daily routine , challenged ourselves through an incredible workout led by Tracey, and I finished my Saturday morning with a sauna and cold plunge.

My circumstances haven’t changed. My responsibilities are still waiting for me. But I have changed.

I don’t leave feeling depleted—I leave feeling replenished, rejuvenated, and nourished.

It’s a beautiful reminder that self-care isn’t about escaping your life. It’s about intentionally filling your own cup so you have something meaningful to pour into the people you love.

If you’ve been running on empty, maybe this is your reminder too: pause, nourish your body, move with intention, and make space for genuine connection. Those moments have a way of restoring us far more than we often realize

There are moments that remind me why I do what I do, and today was one of them. 🤍
As a business owner and a mom, there are days when both worlds beautifully collide. Today I had to bring my son, Gabriel, to the studio, and my incredible clients, Brooke and Andrew, welcomed him with open arms and invited him to work out alongside them.
Watching Gabriel—my little athlete—light up as he looked up to them was such a special gift. On the way home he told me, “Mom, anytime they’re at the studio, I’d love to work out with them again.” My heart melted.
This is so much more than a Pilates studio. It’s a community. It’s a place where clients become family, where kindness is freely given, and where my children get to witness what genuine connection looks like.
I’m also grateful that they get to see firsthand what it means to build something from the ground up—to work hard, serve others with love, and create a business rooted in purpose. More than anything, I hope I’m teaching them that health, wellness, integrity, and compassion are just as important as success.
To my amazing clients: thank you for embracing not just me, but my family too. You may come for Pilates, but you’ve become part of something so much bigger. My heart is incredibly full. 🤍

There’s something so special about summertime.

It’s the season when some of my favorite college athletes come home, and I get the privilege of working with them again. My heart gets so excited knowing I’ll see familiar faces who have become so much more than clients over the years.

Today I got to spend time with my beautiful Brooke—an incredible softball player at Alabama—and her brother Drew, who has always been an absolute force on the baseball field. We came in ready to work hard, laugh a lot, and then continue the fun outside the studio. Our only challenge? Deciding whether it would be Pilates to pizza… or pizza to Pilates. 🍕💜

These moments remind me why I do what I do.

My studio has never just been a place to exercise. It has always been my second home. The people who walk through these doors aren’t simply clients—they become part of my extended family. I get the incredible honor of watching them grow, cheering them on through every season of life, and celebrating their victories both on and off the field.

Brooke and Drew, thank you for letting me be a small part of your journey. Watching the amazing humans you’ve become is one of the greatest gifts of my career.

To every person who has ever stepped into my studio—thank you. You have filled this space with laughter, trust, resilience, friendship, and so much love. I truly feel blessed beyond words.

There are seasons in life that don’t just change your circumstances—they change you.

Seasons that teach you who will stand beside you without conditions. Seasons that reveal the beauty of genuine friendship, authentic sisterhood, and hearts that love without expectation. Seasons that remind you that some people arrive not to fix you, but to simply hold space for you as you find your way.

Lately, I have found myself overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible souls in my life. For the kindness, compassion, wisdom, laughter, and love that have surrounded me.

But beyond that, I am grateful for something even deeper.

I am grateful for the relationship I am building with myself.

For learning that my strength was never outside of me. For trusting my own voice. For standing firmly in my truth. For finding peace in my own presence and realizing that wholeness is not something we receive from others—it is something we remember within ourselves.

Growth is a sacred unfolding. It humbles you. It refines you. It teaches you that the greatest gift is not becoming someone new, but returning to who you were always meant to be.

Grateful. Blessed. Humbled.

Alhamdulillah, always.

This past week broke me in ways I didn’t expect. I was physically sick, feverish, depleted… and emotionally carrying so much on my heart—quietly, alone. There were moments I felt overwhelmed, heavy, and honestly scared.

But something shifted.

The more I chose to say Alhamdulillah, the more I leaned into trusting Allah instead of looking to people to lift me… the more I felt myself release what I was never meant to carry alone.

And then—He responded.

Out of nowhere, my sweet neighbor Gazzel lovingly invited me and the kids to Enchanted Rock. We stepped away from our usual routine, and what we walked into felt like a gift written just for us. The stillness, the views, the fresh air… my kids laughing freely… and my heart, finally opening again.

It was mercy. It was expansion. It was Him.

Allah reminds me every time: when I turn to Him with sincerity, gratitude, and trust—He gives back in ways that are deeper, greater, and more beautiful than anything I could plan myself.

In my moments of tightness and constraint, He meets me with expansion. In my weakness, He meets me with strength. In my surrender, He meets me with love.

Alhamdulillah for all of it.

Ya Allah, keep me in a constant state of gratitude, trust, and expansion. Surround me with Your mercy, hold my heart in Your peace, and allow me to always see Your beauty—even in the breaking

I release fear.
I release doubt.
I release what is no longer mine to control.

I choose to surround myself with people who uplift me, inspire me, and call me into a higher version of myself.

My heart is so full of gratitude for the beautiful connections in my life—especially my sweet Sara and Traci. True powerhouses. Women who embody strength, vision, and authenticity. 🤍

Last night was a reminder of what happens when like-minded souls come together—not just as entrepreneurs, but as individuals devoted to health, wellness, longevity, community, and reclaiming our power… and our souls.

There is something so powerful about being in a space filled with intention—where conversations expand you, hugs ground you, and energy aligns you.

Thank you for the connections, the collaboration, the inspiration, the laughter, the “cheers,” and the shared vision. It was a night of integration, alignment, and pure magic.

Love you ladies. ✨
