Job Title: Sign Builder and Installer
Job Location: Shop is located in Landing, NJ; Customers and work sites are throughout NJ and the NY metropolitan area.
Job description: This is a full-time position in a growing company in a vibrant industry reporting to the company owner. Work hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:30am – 5pm. The job holder will work with another person with the same responsibilities, the Design team, and the company owner. Some projects will require working independently, while others will require working with the other Builder/Installer and/or the company owner.
Sign builder responsibilities include producing signs to customer specifications provided by our Design team. Job duties include building, assembling and construction of signs from a wide variety of materials including preparation and application vinyl materials and printed graphics to various substrates; hand painting signs and hardware to produce a professional product.
Installer responsibilities include installing the finished signs and graphics on buildings, windows, doors, posts and structures at various heights working on ladders, a lift bucket or on a platform in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Qualifications include:
• Ability to handle larger size materials or equipment of heavier weight (50+ lbs.);
• Skilled in handling power and hand tools and equipment, know basic painting techniques;
• Likes doing fine detailed production and assembly bench work, likes the outdoors;
• Comfortable learning and using specialty shop machinery and equipment;
• Comfortable making basic electrical wiring connections;
• Demonstrates team attitude while able and willing to teach and learn from others:
• Have a Valid NJ Driver’s License:
• Vehicle and Insurance and ability to get to work ON TIME.

Experience Required
• 1 to 3 years of experience in areas such as the computer numerical controlled machine, trades, handyman, theater set designer.
• Show hands-on experience building structures or items of different shapes and sizes.
• Willing to take and able to pass OSHA 10 safety training.

• Skilled with tools and power equipment including Gravograph IS8000XP CNC Milling engraving machine and Laguna M2 CNC Routing machine?
