The shop will be closed May 5-May 9. I will be out of town. Shelby will be running the scratch doubles on the 7th. I will be back in the shop normal hours on the 12th. I will be in normal hours all the way up through the 2nd. If you need work done come on in.

Reminder that the Thursday scratch doubles start this Thursday the 23rd. We will have a quick meeting at 6. We will make a few quick decisions on start time etc. this will be an unsanctioned league. We will be bowling on PBA patterns. $30 per person per week. $10 of that will go to pay lineage and the rest will go to the prize fund. We will bowl 15 weeks on three different patterns with each 5th week being a position round. Each pattern winner and one wild card team will make the roll offs. We will be using the Peterson points system. If you would like to bowl but have no partner, no issue we have a few people signed up that are singles and you guys are free to partner up how you would like. This is always a fun time, gives good experience on tougher conditions and tests the patience of a saint 😂. If your anxiety is up after bowling, just remember to thank our pattern picker Shelby Resinger when you see her😁

Just a reminder that this weekend is the Spare The TaTas fundraiser for cancer research. This is a great tournament for a great cause. Congratulations to Steven Stigall!! Steven won the end of year match play/step ladder finals for the Precision Shootout this year!! We had some great bowling this year and I appreciate all the bowlers who participated this year. We started out a little slow but finished strong. We ended up paying out $6450 to the top ten bowlers with the winner taking home $1500. Looking forward to next shootout season. Remember, you don’t have to bowl every week, and the more participation throughout the year, the bigger the payouts. Plus we payout weekly as well. Looking at adding some perks this coming year like a strike pot or something. If anyone has any inputs, we would be happy to hear you out. Last but certainly not least by a long shot is a huge shout out to Shelby Resinger for running the ship. She does a phenomenal job and the tournament is the better because of her. Also a big thanks to Kristen and Earnest for running brackets this year. Hopefully we can get folks to catch on that brackets is where it is at. This is all done for you, the bowlers. Looking forward to the next round. We should start around August but more info will follow.

Congrats to Charles Reardon on winning the last shootout of the year. The top 10 in points are now locked in. We will have the round robin match play finals and step ladder Saturday. We will get started as soon as possible, but like last week the Utah State Tournament will be finishing up their last squad. It’s tough to delay it anymore as we run into Summer leagues and it gets tough to squeeze the scratch doubles in there. So, we will call it a 530-600 start time but be prepared to flex some. The pattern for the finals will be Tokyo. See you all there!

Congrats to Cody Dunn for his victory in the shoot out Saturday. This Saturday is the last regular shoot out before the top ten match play. I will post points tomorrow after updates. We will bowl on Neon this Saturday to lock in the top ten. This Saturday is the beginning of the Utah state tournament. The last squad is at 3 and we well start the shoot out either on time or as soon as the last squad is finished. Sign up will be at 430 and if state is still bowling we will have the sign up start in the shop. I will have more info as we move forward. Thanks to everyone that participated in the shoot out this year. We are going to have some more things added to make the shoot out even better next year. See every one Saturday!!

To all the folks who bowled in the Strike Out Kidney disease fund raising bowling tournament today, I just wanted to thank each of you and let you all know that we were able to send $3500 to the NSF foundation today because of your generosity!! That raises our 7 year total donation to NSF to almost $20,000!! Days like today make me proud to be associated with my bowling community and friends. Looking forward to next year. We will be coming up with some new and exciting things to incorporate including online registration and donation capability. More to come as we explore these options.
