WE ARE JUST 40 DAYS OUT

"Hasse" Granberg, thiş New Yorker was driven across the U.S. in 2013 with plans for more. The and current owner Markku Jaakkola first met in Finland, where their shared love for classic cars and American culture built a lasting friendship.

In 2024, Hasse passed away, leaving the car sitting in the weeds in Grand blanc, Michigan, until Markku stepped in to bring it back. (the car only had 62,000 Miles on it !!!) Then came another setback...

In July 2024, the car was involved in a 4-car crash in Madison Heights, a moment that quckly went viral online. For many, that cold've been the end. But not here.....

Now, Markku has brought the car back to life
AGAIN, this time with help trom a friend, Jacob Gibert (technical specialist). This year, they begın with BLR'S Around the Thumb Rally, betore continuing the "Legacy Run" from Detroit to Chicago, down Route 66 to Santa Monica, and on to Monterey. Finishing the journey, the car never could...

Jacob l ,we got some parts ! I hate putting aftermarket stuff on my cars, but to prepare for a long roadtrip extra gauges are must, because the Chrysler came with “idiot lights” from the factory. Here is the oil pressure, coolant temperature and transmission oil temperature gauges from , transmission oil cooler from Hayden and carter’s electric fuel pump to ease the starting and prevent v***r locking in high temperatures
