Put the Tire on the KTM wheel today…. It wasn’t that bad - 2 rim locks to deal with - fresh Soapy water helped - and 2 sockets help to make room to get the tube valve in its hole….

…..you would think after 50 years of putting wheels together - I wouldn’t have much trouble with them - but these old “All Inner”* spoke wheels with one side of the hub way bigger that the other are always a pain….( *all the spokes are installed from the outside and come out the inner side of the hub )

….over Memorial Day weekend I was in Northern Michigan and had a chance to visit my friend Ray - who I’ve known since the 1970’s when we both were Mechanics at Motorcycle Dealers…he has some OUTSTANDING motorcycles….
