This past weekend’s Greenfield Village Block Party marked the ribbon cutting and official opening of the Dr. Sullivan and Mrs. Richie Jean Sherrod Jackson Home. 🏡
We partnered with the The Henry Ford team to create four hand-drawn illustrations of the home as it stood in 1965 in Selma, Alabama, bringing in period-accurate details to help tell its story. This home served as a planning hub for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and civil rights organizers during the Selma-to-Montgomery marches, making its preservation especially meaningful.
