One of my all-time favorite movie clips is from Rocky:

Those words resonate deeply with me—especially in the work I do as a Certified Mastectomy Fitter and Image Consultant.

I’m passionate about assisting women who are in the fight of their lives. Women who have taken hits—physically, emotionally, and mentally—and are still here. Still fighting. Still moving forward.

I want women to have a space where they can honor their bodies for everything they have survived while also embracing the deeper beauty of their image as a survivor.

My role is to help you see the superhero you already are. 🦸🏽‍♀️ Through my expertise, tools, and personalized guidance, I help you redefine your beauty, restore comfort, and enhance your confidence and courage in your own skin again.

✨ Meet Me Monday | 12 Years of Renee’s Boutique ✨

This Meet Me Monday feels a little extra special because this Friday, September 25th, Renee’s Boutique celebrates 12 years in business! 🎉

What better way to begin anniversary week than by sharing a little more about the woman behind the boutique?

I’m honored to be featured in Voyage Virginia Magazine, where I had the opportunity to reflect on my journey, the evolution of Renee’s Boutique, and the experiences that have shaped the business I have today.

Twelve years ago, I started Renee’s Boutique with a passion for fashion and a vision for helping women feel good about how they look and feel.

Since then, there have been plenty of chapters—growth, challenges, a showroom, the decision to close that showroom, and a major shift from retail into professional services.

But closing the showroom didn’t mean closing the business. It meant evolving.

Today, Renee’s Boutique is focused on image consulting, professional bra fitting, and specialized mastectomy services—and I’m excited about where this next chapter is taking me.

I’m incredibly grateful for every client, collaborator, mentor, friend, family member, and supporter who has been part of these 12 years. ❤️

12 years. Still growing. Still learning. Still showing up. Still just getting started.

It was such a pleasure being part of your Trunk Show. I loved meeting your clients, connecting with your rep, and, most importantly, getting to know more of your incredible staff. It was a great opportunity to learn more about tailored menswear while building genuine connections with people who are passionate about what they do.

And, of course, we talked COLOR! 🎨

Color analysis is about more than finding colors you like—it’s about understanding the colors that complement your natural coloring so you can make more intentional choices with your wardrobe, accessories, professional photos, special events, and everyday style.

I almost changed my outfit today… 👀

A vest and shorts to a professional event? Let’s just say…there was a moment when I questioned it. 😂

But something clicked for me: my style is allowed to evolve as I do.

I’m embracing my body, stepping outside of my comfort zone, and giving myself permission to dress for the woman I am today—not who I used to be.

And honestly, there’s more to the story about why I almost didn’t wear this outfit.

What an incredible weekend in Maryland at the Free Before 40 Conference with Dr. Christi Culpeper-Walker! ✨

This wasn’t just a space for women—it was an experience for men and women, and I loved seeing everyone walk away with something meaningful.

From the beautiful connections and practical tools for personal growth and well-being to speakers who challenged us, inspired us, and held us accountable to step forward into our destiny—every speaker left an impression.

One of my favorite parts was being able to sit in our hotel room afterward and hear my husband openly share the things he took away from the conference and how they resonated with him. Those conversations made the experience even more meaningful. ❤️

What a great experience and an even better weekend in Maryland! If you missed it this year, make plans to join us next year. You don’t want to miss it! ✨
