The USDA 2026 Forecast is in: Production is sliding across California.

With almond bearing acreage down for the first time in 30 years and peach production projected to drop by 10%, the "volume-first" model is being put to the test. When production drops, your efficiency HAS to go up to protect your margin. 📈

USDA's 2026 forecast shows lower California production of almonds, peaches and winter wheat, while durum wheat output is expected to rise, with hay stocks and key tree crop totals also updated.

CASE STUDY - Arlen - 📍Kansas

Arlen applied the TeraGanix NITRO Protocol through his pivot irrigation system on 200 acres of irrigated corn. Key changes to his program:

▫️Reduced nitrogen by 60 units per acre (about a 25% reduction)
▫️Used NITRO Protocol alongside his fertility program to improve nitrogen efficiency
▫️Maintained normal irrigation and management practices
The pivot application allowed for simple, uniform delivery without adding extra field passes.

Purpose and profit are often viewed as a trade-off.. This is the “Martyr Complex” that traps many impact-driven founders.

At this stage, the diagnosis is clear.. If there is no margin, there is no mission. Sustainable impact requires a business model that works financially before it can scale socially. High-level leadership means profitability is the fuel for purpose, not a distraction from it.

Across multiple companies, we see this alignment work. Chad Krause at TeraGanix is proving that helping farmers succeed economically is the only way to make regenerative agriculture stick.
