Struggling to find cohesion & consistency in your brands presence? Youโre not alone. ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
โ
If you find yourself wanting to switch up your brand style & rebrand every few months, I have good news for you โ there is a cure!
โ
& itโs somewhat of an easy fix. You just need to build a solid foundation.
โ
Chances are, when you decided to brand your business you probably skipped a few steps.
โ
Did you get a logo designed just by considering what trends & styles you were into during that very moment rather than thinking long term?
โ
Did you build a website without really knowing your audience and goals for your online presence beforehand?
โ
If youโre guilty of the above, donโt feel bad - just do better. Even during my first year of being a graphic & web designer I struggled with this BAD.
โ
I changed my logo and my website at least every 3 months.
โ
It was embarrassing. I didnโt feel confident in my business because I knew I looked all over the place and wondered how people could ever take me seriously.
โ
I knew something had to change. To fix this, I got my mind right by going back to square one.
โ
I created a SOLID foundation for my brand by digging deep & defining the following before I did anything else:
โ
ใฐ๏ธ My brand story
ใฐ๏ธ My big picture vision
ใฐ๏ธ My target audience
ใฐ๏ธ My aesthetic
ใฐ๏ธ My messaging
โ
Since going through all of the above, I havenโt felt the need to rebrand my visual brand for two years strong now! (thatโs like a decade when youโre a designer btw ๐)
โ
Even with the shift Iโve made into a Brand Coach this year, this foundation allowed the consistency of my brand presence to remain the same.
โ
I can always feel confident knowing that everything within my brand feels timeless, intentional, & most importantly โ like me.
โ
I now use these same processes to get my clients confident & consistent in how they show up online.
โ
If finding a high level of consistency & cohesion in your online presence feels difficult โ make sure you arenโt skipping these steps. ๐๐ฝ
