WrapStar Pro CEO Kristin Lanzarone- I've brought back my roots of a journalist. Except this time it's not about the motorsports industry it's about the printing and installation industry. For 2023, you will see me as an active columnist writer for Big Picture Magazine launching a six part series on "The Competitive Wrap Installer." Kick starting the first column about "Training & Certifications" in the January- February issue of BPM. As I’m currently in route to Toronto 🇨🇦 to train and certify installers for PDAA/Arlon Vehicle Fleet. It has been a passion to educate and certify installers within the industry. I wasn’t kidding when I wanted to have a training facility and be a trainer for pressure sensitive adhesives.

Back in 2018, I was featured in Speedway Illustrated as a silly professor teaching an installer/racer how to apply racecar wraps and graphics. (You’ll see why it’s silly in the photos 🤣) To now being featured in Signs of The Times Magazine launching WrapStar University as the “New School.. solution installers have been waiting for.” Check out the full article of my whys and purpose for my universal training facility to serve all organizations, brands, manufacturers and reps.

Today was the official launch of WrapStar University hosting Day 1 of PDAA Architectural- Windows, Walls & Floors. The first of 3 back to back training/cert events for the next 12 days.

This has been a 5 year long dream and as I kept telling myself to trust the timing, that it will all fall into its place as it should.

There are some amazing souls who have contributed to helping me build this universal training facility, specializing in pressure sensitive adhesives. These individuals I am forever grateful for all of their support and believing in me during this build.

My mom Sandy Armstrong & my son Velocé for dealing with my long hours and supporting this madness. Jeff Burkholder for stepping up and assisting with my unique builds. Ashley Mignani for being an amazing helping hand mirroring my DIY energy, my support, my rock and keeping me up when I felt weak and tired. My soul sister, Angela Kelly, for jumping in and helping me with anything and everything I needed assistance for, even if it was just cleaning my shop toilets. My Uncle for stepping up and building the best HPL walls, columns, elevator panels and other small needs for resurfacing films at 3M DiNoc specs. My employees for being patient and trusting my vision. My immediate friends and family who supported me from afar and understood what I was doing when I didn’t return calls or respond to messages. My clients for believing in me, my work and for being patient.

Those in the industry who believed in me when I was a nobody, supported my dream and continued to push me through this vision. Back in August WrapStar Pro purchased an 8-head 15-needle Barudan Embroidery Machine to take on our clients embroidery needs in house. It took 7 months to arrive at my facility… 😩 due to the shipping crisis from the C-19 pandemic. It’s here and this machine is absolutely amazing and super user friendly, something I’m not accustomed to with my daily needy wide format printers 🤣

We can do custom embroidery for your hats, visors, beanies, polos, jackets, aprons, towels, blankets, bags etc the list goes on.
