I’ve been relishing this autumn season with emotions all over the place like scattered leaves and inspiration that comes and goes in waves.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My work now fills me up in a way I didn’t realize it could. I have a nine-week-old puppy bouncing around - full of energy and love. She forces me to take breaks more and play more in my new home. This home feels inspiring, comfortable, and warm, especially heading into the holiday season.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today I just wanted to share how grateful I am for this life of mine. The mental health and emotional battles we fight as ambitious dreamers, creatives, or business owners are no joke sometimes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I think we all have a love/hate relationship with life, business, and home at times. Especially when those three are combined when working from home.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am so relieved to be feeling more acceptance and ease recently around the messiness or overwhelm I so often experience. It feels like it’s been a long time coming! 🙃
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But, I see now that taking breaks, having boundaries, and time off to do nothing is not just a cliche concept (one I thought I could get around!). It makes a whole world of difference.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For anyone who needed that reminder today, I hope you give yourself permission to stop and soak in the beauty of right where you’re at.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There will always be more dreams and goals and things to do, but don’t take this moment for granted. In life, business, family, or love. 🧡
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
More coming in this space soon, but for now, I’m prioritizing my work, my puppy, and my quiet time.

Also, this is another stunning photo from if anyone could use a resource for beautiful stock photography!
