Emma DeVito is a Wheaton College graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology, a Bachelors degree in Studio Art, and a Minor in Psychology. While in college, Emma took numerous courses on social media and marketing and visual sociology. She wrote and presented an advanced capstone senior thesis titled "Me 2.0: A Study of Identity Formation Through Image Sharing on Social Networks," based on empir
ical research, personal interviews, and conceptual analysis. The information gathered during this study was later published through the college and also acts as one of the only modern academic sources regarding identity-formation and self-branding through social media. Upon graduation, Emma pursued her passion and interest in the manipulation of social media, and started her own business--Hamptons Creative Media, after acquiring clients in both the Hamptons and New York City (as well as other areas in the United States). Her customers have included, but aren't limited to: lifestyle products and services, restaurants, medical private practices, dining critics and blogs, artists, and independent persons. She now offers a varied and extensive group of social media-related services.
