Well, FB just informed me it’s been over 40 days since I made a post. Course I have a great excuse and I’m sure y’all understand.

Well popping the seal because I’m so excited to be halfway to Nashville for three nights of Billy Strings and I can’t wait to see everyone!

So as I get used to my new and hopefully temporarily normal, I decided that’s it’s best to take a break from doing anything custom until I get a better grip, pun intended. One of the side effects of chemo is neuropathy which is numbness, pins and needles and general lack of feeling in extremeties including fingers. The last custom job I did I almost cut through the shirt trimming threads 😞
But I am going to continue to make patches and bags and the like, things that if I ruin I won’t have to pay someone for their loss.

I still have all the creative urges though, so I decided to make myself some hats! I’m starting to lose hair so the timing is right too 🙂
I taught myself how to make beanies, and I used oops tie dyes for the material and tried a few different techniques, ultimately making one out of two inch squares. Then I made one out a super soft sweater that was holey and bound for the landfill. Then I decided to embroider and embellish some already made hats. Now I have quite a collection 🙂

Merch Monday! Here are all the bags that I have available to ship right now!

They are all embroidered, triple stitched, lined with all finished seams and made with new fittings and up cycled fabrics. Made with love in my home❤️

The two zippered crossover/fanny bags come with an adjustable belt/strap. Approximately 6 x 9 and I’ve never had an issue bringing it into a venue $65 shipped.

The rest of the bags are single zippered, embroidered, triple stitched, lined with finished seams. The have carabiners so you can attach to anything.
Larger Psilly Billy bag (6 x 9 inches) $40 shipped.
Medium Psilly Billy and Red Daisy bags are 6.5 by 4.5 inches and $33 shipped.
Smaller cuties are 3.5 inches square and $25 shipped.

Just wanted to share a couple customs that I did recently! The Dupree and Quinn patches were made for a mom that wanted to personalize her kids backpacks and the little zip bags were made because I sold out and since I was making them specifically for my friends why not make them special?

It’s Fortunate Friday! Feeling very fortunate to be have the energy to make a few more things!
Small batch single zip bags available. They are embroidered, triple stitched and made with upcycled fabrics and new fittings. These are a bit bigger than the last ones I made at 6.5 x 4.5 inches. Definitely big enough to carry cards, cash and a big stash! Each have a carabiner so you can attach it to anything. Happy Billy Day everyone! I hope everyone got the tickets that they needed or has the faith to keep COT alerts and eyes peeled if they didn’t! Happy to be in for all three nights in St Auggie and got pits for Savannah!

Hey everyone! I know it’s been a bit since I posted but you all know that I was getting ready for surgery and I kept myself busy with getting all my ducks in a row so I didn’t have to fret during recovery!

I had a successful surgery according to my dr and am now at home resting and recovering. Everett is doing a wonderful job taking care of me.

Not going to lie though, I’m itching to get to my machines to stitch out some of my new ideas but I’m going to be patient and take the time to heal.

My Mom is coming for a few weeks to take care of me and of course I’m excited for that in the usual ways but I’m really hoping that we can spend some time with her imparting her lifetime of being a professional seamstress and garment manufacturer to me! Maybe I’ll gain more confidence in using my serger!
I really want to incorporate my embroidery into garments that I make including denim vests and patchwork so let’s see where I can go with this!

In the meantime, we saw Greensky Bluegrass the night before my surgery and couldn’t help but stitch out a little patch cause I love that band so much!
