I saved every dollar I could for a ticket to Day on the Green in Oakland, and watched Peter Frampton at the height of his fame.

Tonight, the documentary Frampton opens the 57th Nashville Film Festival. It tells the whole story: the rise, the crashes, and his life today with Inclusion Body Myositis.

This article turned into a reflection on what legacy really means: the family you love, the joy you refuse to surrender, and the light you keep sharing when the spotlight is gone.
