Yesterday, housing developers, business leaders, residents, and legislators gathered at the Minnesota State Capitol to celebrate an innovative, award-winning initiative that expands access to affordable housing across Minnesota. The event also highlighted strong support for extending the legislation that sustains this proven, high-demand program.

The State Housing Tax Credit (SHTC) and Contribution Fund is a powerful, proven community-driven tool to address our state’s housing challenges. Individuals and businesses across our state have contributed more than $42 million to support 107 housing projects in urban, suburban and rural communities statewide, helping projects move forward faster and creating real impact for Minnesotans.

The amazing speakers today spoke to the program’s strong bipartisan support, its widespread adoption across Minnesota communities, and how it has activated both individuals and businesses to invest in housing and housing infrastructure.

Legislators also shared how their proposals (HF3902/SF4044) will strengthen the program, improve its effectiveness, and address the upcoming sunset (2028) to ensure the SHTC continues connecting private investment with public good.

We love it when we can put the spotlight on organizations and people who are awesome! Minnesota Independence College and Community, Amy Gudmestad, Ann and Graham are such great ambassadors for Autism Acceptance, not just in April, but all year. We are thrilled they could show all of Minnesota, via KSTP-TV Minnesota Live, that being doesn't limit you in being a great friend, wonderful employee and co-worker and a valued member of your community. You just need an opportunity to belong.

Red Mood Marketing had an unforgettable night at the 2026 Minnesota Independence College and Community Beyond the Stars Gala, celebrating the premiere of our video collaboration with SuperBird-Studios featuring MICC graduate Matt and his inspiring journey to independence—with the support of MICC and his dream job at Walker Art Center.

We were over the moon watching Matt and the Walker Art Center team react to his story land the way it deserved to be told - with a heart that echoes throughout space.

We laughed. We teared up (more than once). It was like every star lit up for this one moment. This is why we do what we do.

MICC absolutely hit it into another galaxy, with a rockin’ performance by Rock Band and powerful, speeches from staff, participants, and parents.

We are so proud of this project and the work we get to do with MICC. And so grateful to the MICC team for trusting us to tell this story.

Partnership is a work of art.At the Walker Art Center, that belief shows up in how they build their team. The Walker strives to reflect the community it serv...

What’s better than winning an award? Winning it with clients you love!

Red Mood Marketing and Saint Paul Port Authority attended MNCREW’s Annual Meeting last week to receive a Collaboration Award for our work together on The Heights branding and website.

The Heights is the 112-acre redevelopment of the Hillcrest Golf Club in the heart of Saint Paul’s Greater East Side. This new standard in eco-urban development includes:
- 1,000 quality homes
- 1.0M SF of industrial development
- A carbon-neutral infrastructure anchored by a networked geothermal system
And so much more!

Red Mood created a brand that both represents the significant investment in the local neighborhood, the scale of the 112-acre site, and the community that drove the development’s bold vision with the logo, custom patterns, and messaging.

Thank you to MNCREW for not only recognizing our collaboration but for celebrating women lifting up other women to do great work together!

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, the Long Lake came together with neighbors from across the metro area to send a clear message of solidarity, resilience and care for our immigrant friends and neighbors.

After learning that a local family had been separated by ICE, one simple question sparked action: “What can we do to help?”

In just five days, Red Mood Marketing’s Kelly Grady rallied her community: nearly 400 people gathered on the frozen surface of Long Lake to quite literally stand up to ICE, spelling out MN STRONG, and raising $9,985 (and counting) to support families financially impacted by ICE activity and separation.

With support from partners like , who generously donated their time and talent, the result is a powerful visual and an even more powerful reminder of who we are.

This gathering was a call to action: to stand up, show up and care for one another. And the response proved what’s possible when community leads. We can all use our time, talents and resources to make a difference.

Together we stand. Together, we are impossible to ignore.

MN STRONG.
