After an intense 8-week journey, this dedicated cohort wrapped up their program last week, and we couldn’t be prouder of each of them. It’s inspiring to see all the hard work they’re putting in and the bright future that awaits them.

WHEN THE MARKETING STRATEGY IS TO INTRODUCE A WHOLE NEW PRODUCT LINE 😱😱😱

Two years ago, I created this product line, BATHLANCE 🌙 , with the goal to help a friend increase sales in his candle business 🫧

With only $250💰, I came up with a cost-effective plan to help get his numbers up. The marketing strategy was to introduce a whole new product line that aligned with the theme of self care and that would excite customers: AROMATIC MILK BATH SALTS 🧖🏻‍♀️ Candles are such an oversaturated market 🚫 and we had to figure out a way how to differentiate ourselves from the competitors. Given the tight timeline and budget, I saw great potential in this product after doing long hours of research 😏

After taking a deep dive into the business, focusing on the business’s messaging, mission, vision, and values, I created four different variations of the product for the product line: The Escapist 🪻, The Romanticist 🩷, The Resurrectionist 🏵️, and The Healer 🍋. This product line was only available for a limited time and to be sold as a part of a gift set 🎁

Everything that was needed to bring this product to life, I did:

⚜️ named the product line and the products,
⚜️ designed the look and labels (paying close attention to govt. regulations),
⚜️ developed the formula and scents (making sure they were all FDA approved),
⚜️ produced several batches and tested it out in the market,
⚜️ drafted the marketing and ex*****on plan, and
⚜️ assembled over 200 of the final product and packages.

While creating the product, I was hyper-focused on creating a quality product with the costumer’s full experience in mind. I gifted the product to many friends and family to test, and eventually created a pretty dang awesome formula with their input 👩🏻‍🔬 By the time I created the final product, I had received many compliments on how well this product turned out—the specially curated sweet scents, the velvety texture of the formula, and the aesthetic packaging 🛁

This is what I do now as a marketing consultant—I come up with the plan to help my clients win 🏆
